every time I think "I've only been a Rams fan for a few years, I don't fully live and die with them like I do the Dodgers/Lakers" a game like this happens and I'm near a stroke
Thanks guys for killing Brady off this year. Still sore about that Super Bowl so I was screaming at the tv when Stafford tossed that bomb. That’s how you have to beat him. Go balls out.
I've been saying this for three weeks now, but I don't understand why McVay traded for Stafford if he was going to treat him like Goff come playoff time. He's been calling plays scared of Stafford making mistakes for three weeks, and I get it to some degree after the horrible stretch in the second half of the season. But it cost them against SF and nearly cost them today. Just let him play with those WRs.
Not today. But he didn't let him throw at the end of the SF game, which you ultimately lost and ended up the 4 seed instead of the 2. He sat on a lead instead of running a 2-minute drill against Arizona last week with good field position. And tonight before he half he played for a FG and ended up fumbling, lit downs on fire all night with run plays that weren't working, and took it out of Stafford's hands all second half until the very end. Today was a set of crazy circumstances, but I'm shocked at how much McVay is trying to protect a QB everyone said all offseason allowed McVay to open the playbook and not have to hold his QB's hand all game.
One of my friends said he sold tickets to next weeks game for $1500+ each. Cheaper than the Super Bowl but damn that’s insane.
Hosting the NFC championship game. Exactly what we wanted. Next week will be fun. Game should not have been so close but nothing is easy in the NFL.
The few positive things he did this year were from his experience at ND, the rest unfortunately was ingrained into him from his time at Northwestern. Also, I couldn't believe he was drafted let alone playing for a team in the NFL
How good was he at ND? He seems like he’d get 55 receptions a year if he was a Patriot but I have zero hope for him or Tutu going forward
He was better than expected, at least for me, thought he would barely contribute but played well. The thing is he was a big body with sure hands and the hands thing didn't play out too good in the playoffs but I felt like the INT in the Super Bowl he caused and the catch he dropped in the NFC Championship games were quite difficult catches and he got shit on for not hauling them in but not sure what you expect out of a 7th round rookie. He is good on special teams which is what I imagine got him on the roster
#Notre Dame Fighting Irish tell me about the RB we just drafted. How does he compare to other RB of recent years for yall?
He is the best RB ND has had since Julius Jones. He is just not very fast, probably would have gone in the third round if he didn't run such a shitty 40
best RB of the BK era imho. He isnt a burner but he is just a great player, amazing in pass pro, good hands, tough to tackle, gets the most out of runs. Combine was obviously awful, but I think you guys got a 3rd round player with early 2nd round film, youll love him
He's a shit talker on the field, but he plays fearless. It was nothing to see him stand strong in pass pro and cut a rushing DE or LB in half, for example.
