I was in the edge of my seat this morning, knowing the end result. If I had been up when profar walked there was no way I don’t stay up. But the last tweet I saw when I sent to sleep was about them going up 3-0 on the sac fly. I was asleep within minutes of that. I can’t believe I didn’t get to watch live, but I couldn’t be happier to have woken up to that news
130 local time on Wednesday is tough but downtown should still be rocking and it works out since I can leave with an hour or so early and watch (without fear of falling asleep)
Tough game one. Need to bounce back tomorrow afternoon with Snell on the mound. Really thought we had it there in the 9th but manny seemed to be pressing all night at the plate and just couldn’t get a good swing. And of course bell wasn’t going to do anything
Got home a little bit ago. Unreal hot. Vibes were dead early. Then we didn’t stop screaming for an hour. Good times. I think I’m somehow already hungover.

I hope Campy starts to gel with the staff. Seemed like a big weakness last year. Soto/Grish/Tatis outfield is going to be... something
We can try aiming for highest runs scored for and against. Hopefully that nets out to wins but it’ll be exciting at least.
Anyone remember another opening day affected by rain? Bummer that I won’t be able to watch most of the game with the later start. Hoping the good Blake Snell shows up tonight
The relievers seem terrible, is that a thing that should be expected? I know pitching is our weakness but is it THAT bad?
Crismatt didn't even make the expanded roster after a pretty good year. Don't know what's up with him.
Ooof they got blown out (I went to bed after they went down 4-2). Hopefully the bullpen can figure it out sooner rather than later
Nd lacrosse won. Now I’m rooting on sdsu basketball. Couldn’t care less about the stupid padres!!* *that’s a lie. I woke up depressed the last two days seeing the finals for the first two nights.
Juan Soto even made an appearance tonight. One of these days, our stars will all play normal ball together and we will be cookin’! That pitching though. Woof.
It does suck that due to injuries and wbc, we pitched 3-4-5-6 to start the season. But they need someone to step up, need to get a good year out of Snell and need the bullpen to get going. That’s a lot to ask though which scares me
The Bogaerts homerun last night was hit directly over my head. Heart started racing a bit when I thought I was gonna have to make a play off the bat.
Feel good splitting after those first two. Shouldn’t feel good about splitting with the Rockies, but they also seem to have number at times
We're still missing some pieces but that seems like a pretty glaring weakness early on. We're just so thin
Cruz and boegarts last night. Soto tonight. pitching doing their job. Let’s keep it going. wanted to get a split in Atl and they’ve done that. Hopefully they can take the series tomorrow
Wacha and Lugo might be the 3rd and 4th best starters right now. Bullpen is still missing Suarez. It'll get there. Happy with the lineup right now, especially Bogaerts. Fernando return right around the corner too.
