1. You do not have to go to the doctor to get the vaccine. 2. Being asymptomatic is a crap shoot, you can get it again and have a completely different outcome. Also, being vaccinated increases the chances you will NOT get it again and become a possible vector to continue the spread. In addition to, there are new studies that show that 36% of people that get Covid do not develop antibodies. That is more than 1 in 3 people. So just because you have had it before does not mean that your body has developed a natural immunity against what is now a more contagious and deadly strain of the virus. 3. There are plenty of people that can not get the vaccine for actual medical reasons and every single person that does not get vaccinated puts them at risk. *edit : and kids that can not be vaccinated yet

That’s not how vaccines work. It isn’t a personal health decision, it’s a public health issue. Every person that isn’t vaccinated is another person that allows the virus to circulate and infect others. There are only two ways to stop a pandemic - extreme quarantine measures like China and widespread use of effective vaccines. That’s it. Those are the only two ways out. None of us wants Chinese style quarantines (though they are effective). We have quality vaccines readily available. You not getting one means you want the pandemic to continue and the government to resort to Chinese style quarantines to combat it. Don’t be that kind of asshole. Be a good member of society and protect others by getting the vaccine. Then you can go back to just being the kind of asshole that thinks Iowa has the best corn. We can live in a society with that kind of asshole. We can’t live with people that care so little about their neighbors that they won’t get vaccinated against a disease that has already killed hundreds of thousands of them.
