Like it sucks for them but the Nebraska fans here are quite good posters and it's probably partially because they are now a bad football program.
I've endured 2 winless seasons. And a lot of mediocre to bad just in the 20ish years I've followed ucf. Makes the recent run more fun but the new fans don't understand how good they got it.
And the expectations have now changed I assume. Fifteen years ago MSU was happy to make a bowl game. The rise on the way up was outstanding, but now I have minimal desire to even go to half the games even if we were decent
SCAR's best 4 year run was 2010-13. 2014 was a 6 loss year with multiple blowouts. I witnessed UofSC upperclassmen blame the freshmen for "fucking ruining it." (Really it was our Athletics Dept)

same thing happened when I grew up in Eugene with Oregon. All the bandwagon fans that got picked up during Chips tenure have no idea how bad to average it was before when I was a kid I seem to remember spurrier coming out saying he knew it was time to hang it up when he was losing at halftime to UCF during our winless season with O’Leary. we still lost that game
Nebraska fans know both sides of this. - my age, 35, grew up as kids seeing the most dominant stretch of football in the history of the sport. Seeing a team average 53 points in 1995 was this weird, ‘holy shit we are good.’ But not really processing how fucking insane that was. Football now is such a weird thing to try to process since we fucking suck. - the opposite is Husker basketball, where ANY amount of success is a happy excitement of ‘what the fuck is this?!?!’ for example, the team has won 7 games each time the last two years but we just signed our first 5 star and are recruiting at a top 15 level and the fans are optimistic as fuck. Incredibly weird thought process as a fan.
