The problem is conservatism is based on the belief that rights come from ancient institutions and not nature. That was Edmund Burke’s whole point. Conservatism is antithetical to the founding principles of the American revolution.

NPR was talking about this the other day, and how state’s are actively seeking to protect outsider rights to abortion. I think they mentioned Connecticut and Colorado as states that already have something like that planned or enacted. Basically won’t comply with subpoenas, extradition of providers, etc.
