Obviously, I can see an image of a roman numeral in the movie poster. The point I'm making is that the film has a fucking name, and that name is the same name as the original movie.
Clearly it hadn't clicked with me until looking back through the thread. And yeah they should've added a number. It's going to throw off my scream soundtrack playlist on Spotify. Fuckers.
I liked it. Didn’t try to take itself seriously and the meta stuff was entertaining. Agreed the hospital scene with Dewey made zero sense, but other than that, well done.
Actually, I really loved 4, so I might have it on the same level as 2 and 5. I have a hard time separating those three.
Like you said, 3 is the worst by a large margin, and I can't put anything above the original. The other three are interchangeable imo.
Enjoyed it. Definitely the best since the original imo. The hospital shit was a little ridiculous with seemingly no one else in the entire facility, but still a really solid flick.
so there's gonna be 2 more? next one Gale dies then the last one Sidney dies? or is Sidney the new Lori Strode and is invincible?
Wow, that was bad. Cliched, predictable and the meta commentary was out of control. Regardless of whether there are any future movies or not, that's the last one I'll see.
Sorry, but I thought the dialogue was awful and it ruined the movie for me. I get that the whole meta-comm is part of the Scream movies, but this was so over the top and had the cast standing around reading lines & looking completely unnatural doing so. If that doesn't bother you, great - I don't mind either way. Difference between you and me is that I'm not going to tell you you're wrong because you've got a different opinion of the film to me. But I guess this is TMB, after all - it's almost a prerequisite to bash other opinions.
Just watched this. Thought it was pretty mediocre lol at the police chief doing 80 through the neighborhood with sirens blaring, then turning them off (?) and getting stabbed in broad daylight in front yard with no one noticing Hospital scene was even worse
How is that any different to the previous poster saying he was in? You guys are hilarious. But that's fine, continue to wet yourself over a substandard sequel and its follow-ups.
Liked it, but not as much as I remember loving the first trilogy. It's been so long - were those as over the top as 5? It sort of felt like a scream / scary movie hybrid
doyle really nailed it, the one killer was totally obvious the acting by the sheriff in that scene with ghost face on the phone felt like a scene from scary movie making fun of these movies
