Not sure if he knew or not. I figured he would beg and eventually apologe for betraying Ned and that would put Jon over the edge to kill him. Seemed like it was saying he's always been scared and a pussy is what put Jon over the edge to swing the sword. Jon just gave up the only thing he ever wanted in life for honor and the oath he gave...and this fuck admitting he would never not be able to be a coward.
I find it hard to believe that I am the only fan of the best character in this series, Ramsay of House Bolton, the first of his name, filleter of men, castrator of men, rapist of women, torturer of the less fortunate, soon to be: Lord of the Dreadfort, Lord Paramount of the North, Warden of the North, Lord of Winterfell, Soon yet to be: King of the Andals and the first men, King of the seven kingdoms, destroyer of the Realm, Master of Chains, and Slayer of Dragons. Hopefully he indeed fillets Sansa and wipes out any last remains of the Stark name, and yes, I think that's exactly what he is going to do, it is known.
that sick fucker is a close 2nd, behind the imp, for me as well. don't remember the exact line but something like "the new guy paid his fucking taxes" had me rolling.
kinda seemed like Jon Snow was trending towards being Jon Stark and taking back the North towards the end of the ep imo. Between the pep talk he got and the knowing looks/eye contact with Stannis, seems like he realizes it's what needs to be done
Agreed on Jon teaming up with stannis. The whole quoting the oath part about protecting the kingdom of men created the loophole Jon was looking for.
Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come."
Yeah, I'm definitely going to order that as well AND never wear it outside of the house. But I'm going to get a large one and just wear it as my jammies, but let's be clear, I'll only be wearing the shirt. Thank you
Sansa wants the finger You know nothing Jon Snow may have been what we needed to get him on board. He looked shook after she said that Fuck Jorah Bronn-Jamie combo is great to watch Jesus Police were Loras and the people he was training with surely could have fucked those clowns up Mereen just got hot. Unleash the crackin dragons
Well, I'm starting to wake up from my season 5 slumber... I have an ominous feeling about Bronn for some reason and Stannis too. Seemed odd to have that kind of a scene with his daughter, like we're being set up to feel sympathetic for him. Plus Melisandre is acting like she needs to find a new Lord/King. Good scene with Sansa and Littlefinger.
Reading through the leaked episodes thread. I like this theory Previews looked like Dany was done taking shit and ready to get mean again.
Fuck man. I'm assuming Greyworm survived but didn't look so good for our main man Selmy. Perhaps he isn't dead since they made it a point to show GW taking out the last before he could take the throat slash but he sure looked it. I really like Melisandres body. Really on point. Would've been tough to pass on that vag sitting on your lap. Jon really does know nothing
Also if Selmy dies at the hands of those queers that's dumb. So I'm assuming he's alive bc he should never fall so easily
that's usually how great warriors die in tales, by the hands of some nobody. shit, look at Omar Little.
btw I fucking cannot stand Selyse and I hope she dies soon. fucking soulless cunt should burn for the Lord of Light imo.
As pearl stated, this was the best episode of the season thus far.... fucking incredible episode. The "You know nothing Jon Snow" line was the first time I've done a rewind in the middle of the episode just so I could see Jon Snow's face after I was too busy freaking the fuck out the first time. Fuck man... Bronn is great and the Stannis/Daughter scene had me all "fuck yeah! I've always been Team Stannis but now I really like him even more!" Thank god you warmed me to not show any emotion. I'm now back to having no feelings towards Stannis so I won't be affected if he dies. It's a cold world. I'm really hoping that Sansa gets filleted by Ramsay....
Can't believe Litter finger left Sansa there by herself. She's fucked, and litter finger is fucked when he gets back to kings landing...
Since the previews for next week showed him laying on a table at what appears to be his funeral, I'd tend to agree with you. Either way, it may be the opening Jorah needed to try and weasel his way back into Dany's vag inner circle.
I intentionally don't watch the "scenes from the next..." so I don't get teased/spoiled but that's really, really stupid. This isn't the same as the other big "deaths". Those were done by the ridiculously awesome things, other than King Roberts poisoning. The fags in masks just don't really seem big enough to end Greyworm & Selmy in one scene.
The whole episode was fantastic, from start to finish. TONS of shit going on. But Jamie and Bronn stole the show. The banter between the two of them was tremendous, just needs some bad sitcom soundtrack and I would watch all day.
I seriously doubt Greyworm is dead even though I know GRRM is a fucking cuntface and would do something like that. And it totally fits his fuckface mold to have Selmy happy as shit going singing in the streets and then dies. But Greyworms injuries seemed a lot less threatening - baby knife stab through armor in the side and a little back of the knee slice. Selmy took a stab to the chest. He's dead
Selmy was fucking awesome and should not be killed by a bunch of shits wearing masks; however, regardless of how good he was, he was getting swarmed. He took out a ton of folks before he went down, but it's not like he was going to have an easy time of it when he's got 8 guys stabbing at him at the same time.
