I don't know if anyone else listened to that podcast but it predicts a huge spoiler for bookfags and makes total sense and I'm convinced it's happening. Sucks, but oh well.
Ok, here it is. It isn't confirmed but my googling skills have shown me this theory has been around for a few years. First I've ever heard of it. It makes sense in terms of the book and the way the show has gone. It's most likely a spoiler given that the podcast is using a pre-production fight scene training video as proof, so yeah the spoilered theory could be for real. Spoiler Jon becomes the Night's King. We all know he "dies" and suspect melisandre to resurrect him. What if they take him past the wall to be buried with the old god's (where he took his vowes and buried ygrette) and the Night's King brings him back. The scene with Craster's baby would make sense if Jon wakes up with blue eyes. The theory supposes the Nights King wasn't actually bad. That he took the Other as a bride to make an alliance and peace between them and the humans broke it when they revolted against him. It would explain why the Starks have such strong ties to the North. "Winter is Coming" is a warning. They are allies with the Others and winter can come for them. It also covers how he can get an ice dragon, which is capable of defeating 7 fire dragons. The Others are like the Children and trying to protect themselves. The Wall is a boundary for both. Edit: Jon also has a thing for helping people. He tried to save the Wildlings because he realized they were good at heart so it might be setting him up to do the same with the Others to stop Dany and the Dragons. He basically becomes Coldhands, hence why they left him out of the show as to not spoil this big revelation. Martin has said we will se the land of always winter in the books and I assumed he meant through Bran, but this would also work. https://www.reddit.com/r/asoiaf/com...theory_jon_is_the_next_nights_king/[/spoiler]
Spoiler yea this is the toughest part to accept. it would be completely retarded to bury a dead body north of the wall when they've been coming back to life to kill people lately.
Maybe he tried to forget about episode 10 as well and doesn't believe in skeletons coming out of the ground.
Spoiler the nights king could get him before, ooorrrr maybe this is another magic targ moment and he doesn't burn? Showfags think targs can't burn at all already and the show hasn't debunked that. We are getting R+L=J confirmed this season.
Spoiler Didn't they already fuck up and show us the Knight's King though? Also I've been team Winter Is Coming is a threat, not a warning for a while. It's such a badass thought.
So do you guys buy some of the spoilers on reddit? Just curious if any of you guys ever looked shit up on there.
Spoiler Read a theory on reddit that somewhat ties this theory together with another popular one regarding Jon. Spoiler So a lot of people believe that Jon will be Azor Ahai reborn, and some say he will be the new Night's King. The theory I read mentioned that the original Azor Ahai and the last hero may have been the same person. The COTF helped the last hero defeat the others by making Lightbringer. The last hero/AA had to kill his wife in order to bring Lightbringer to life, and the wife was then ressurected by the others. Once the last hero saw his wife in "other" form, he couldn't help himself and then became the Night's King.
I went down the rabbit hole yesterday and was reading some reddit theories. I came across a potential big spoiler for the show. Read below at your own risk. Spoiler One guy on there claims to have a friend that plays a white walker on the show. He claimed that we will see the Night's King at Hardhome this season. Apparently he is going to be converting people into white walkers by resurrecting them after they jump off a cliff. Apparently he made the same claim last year that we would see the Night's King in an episode, which ended up happening.
Spoiler http://winteriscoming.net/2015/03/1...ay-a-wildling-on-season-5-of-game-of-thrones/ perhaps???
Spoiler Spoiler If true, that is going to be a badass scene. Dead things coming from the water makes a lot more sense now.
Almost definitely won't happen, but Tyrion murking Tywin was on Fathers Day last year. What if Lady Stoneheart made a Mothers Day appearance? Again, not happening, before everyone jumps down my throat.
How is Sansa going to murk freys from Ramsey's dungeon in Winterfell? We haven't even seen a frey in like 2 seasons.
I know opinion on her is pretty divided but the lack of stone heart puzzles me. Seems like the kind of thing showfags would go crazy for.
I thought it would be the one storyline HBO would eat up. Would make for some pretty dramatic television.
I mean at this point that corpse is washed out to sea. They should have shown Nymeria dragging her out from the river and getting brought back to "life". I suppose they could always do a flashback or some shit but from what I gather LSH isn't going to appear. That cunt Cersei trolled us all.
