have any of you guys heard about this? The sigil's before every name in the title sequence maisie is a wolf of course but before season 7 sansa was a dragon? for season 7 it changed to wolf though this cant possibly be a mistake can it
Or you know, people were dying on the show and they had to reorder the opening credits and made a mistake. I bet that wasn't for long that error
Yeah I just checked episode one and Sophie is a wolf. I'm guessing some dumbass noticed the error on one or a few episodes and posted it trying to cause a stir, knowing that the majority of people wouldn't double check it.
lol at you saying anything about me that isnt being a huge dick, after 7 years you never change. How embarrassing for you being so depressed and angry all the time
They’ve been engaged for at least half a year lol. At least that was the word around Montreal where they spend their summers
‘Game of Thrones’ Season 8 Will Cost $15 Million an Episode Published 6 hours ago Many have speculated that the reduced number of episodes for the final season of Game of Thrones was actually an attempt by show creators and producers to maximize their budget. Whereas the first season of the sprawling fantasy epic cost $6 million USD per episode, it has now been confirmed by Variety that the final episodes will cost a whopping $15 million USD per installment – surely setting aside all that cash for countless epic battles to provide a fitting conclusion. For context, last year’s breakout hit, Stranger Things, cost $6 million an episode for season one, and will rise to $8 million USD in season two. In addition to the announced price tag, it has also been confirmed that the remaining six episodes will be handled by three directors/duos; Miguel Sapochnik – who helmed key battle episodes like “Hardhome” and “Battle of the Bastards” – David Nutter – who has directed six episodes over the series including “The Rains of Castamere” which featured the Red Wedding – and finally co-creators, David Benioff and DB Weiss, who will handle the finale.
Oh the feels. You know nothing Jon Snow is one of the best lines I’ll always remember from this show.
season 5 has been a drag for me. the "dany learning to be queen" stuff is meh. tommen sucks. at least joffrey was funny. olenna tyrell is great.
why didn't joffrey and tommen have any kind of combat/military training? did i miss some explanation for this? pretty much all of their male relatives, alleged and real, are commanders or warriors. and it seems like most highborn males in general undergo some kind of training.
i'm guessing its because "dad" was killed and the real dad was off fighting battles. So Cersei was shot calling and didn't find it important
They were pampered little princes. I'm sure Joffrey recieved basic sword training, but Tommen was probably considered either too young by the master at arms or too fragile by his mother. I know the Stark kids were swinging swords right out of teh womb, but that's the North.
“Why aren’t you down in the yard?” Arya asked him. Jon gave her a half smile. “Bastards are not allowed to damage young princes,” he said. “Any bruises they take in the practice yard must come from trueborn swords.” (Arya I AGOT) Spoiler
They did receive training they just never really showed it. In the books when Robert visits Winterfell Joffery refuses to spar with Robb and Bran works over Tommen iirc Joffery was just a spoiled cunt and Tommen was just a sweet kid and a softy.
into season 6. brienne is probably my favorite "hero" varys is my favorite otherwise ramsay bolton sucks ass. he reminds me of gyp rosetti from boardwalk empire in that apparently it's not enough for him to be a psycho murderous asshole... he must also be a sexual deviant. ramsay is a lot dumber, though. meh. hopefully he's better in the books.
i assume this is a reference to something that i haven't seen in season 6 because otherwise it seems like he has alienated most/all of his potential allies because he is a psycho murderous asshole. he just sucks as a character imo. there is just no there "there" other than him being a psycho murderous asshole. for example, stannis baratheon is a good villain. stannis burned his own daughter alive because he thought it would make him king. ramsay bolton is like those twins from breaking bad that came to execute walt with an axe from home depot, except he has gotten like 3+ hours of screentime.
Never said he was a political genius. His military strategies were on point. -Burning Stannis’ supplies with 20 men -The phalanx to entrap John’s Army -Tricking the Iron Born out of Moat Cailin -Riding out to defeat Stannis Army while they were still tired from the March Only reason he lost the BOTB was because he didn’t foresee the Knight’s of Vale riding north to help Sansa.
think about what makes a good villain. for me, it's not just being the biggest asshole on the block maybe he is different in the books, which i have not read
Ramsay was the farthest thing from a military genius. The show just gave him a stupid amount of plot armor
