I would roll my eyes so fucking hard if the Second Sons or Gold Company or some other virtually irrelevant faction charges in at the last minute to save Jon from certain death (again).
The Knights of the Vale in the battle of the bastards made sense, both plot and realistic wise. Them doing that vs the NK and the army of the dead requires more suspension of disbelief that Cap could hold back a full Infinity stoned gauntlet Thanos.
So according to the script in the Season 7 Finale, Viserion isn't a wight, its a full blown white walker dragon. That changes a good amount of fan theories and whatnot.
You mean that the mechanism for bringing down the wall was dependent on the great zombie heist? We were just talking about that yesterday as an example of some of the worst transition of source to screenplay. Sounds like Amazon is going to try to do wheel of Time. Not optimistic.
I've never heard of this series, but it sounds interesting. How are the books? Isn't Amazon also doing a Lord of the Rings prequel series as well?
I love it but there is more magic than asoiaf so many people won't enjoy it as much. Author ran into similar issues as did grrm in that as his core characters started having different povs he kinda got lost in the wilderness for a while. Came down with a rare blood disease and passed away without finishing but unlike the fat cunt he spent the last months of his life feverishly writing notes so that another could finish his life's work. He loved his fans. Brandon Sanderson wrote the final 3 books.
I read them all, and enjoyed them overall. With that said, the most common sentiment among fans is the series absolutely drug out forever in the middle. Basically nothing would happen for multiple books, and Jordan was basically accused of extending the series to sell more books. He actually died after the 11th book, and Brandon Sanderson was brought in to finish the series. I'd say his three books are definitely three of the best in the series. The series could actually be better than the books. It could cut down Jordan's snail pace plot development, and actually have female characters who aren't insufferable. Jordan was TERRIBLE at writing women.
Agreed. And the scale of the battle scenes are LotR's level but with crazy magics. How to show that without being cheesy as fuck.
Looks like he's just been in here talking to himself. Only fan theories it blows up are the ones from before the end of last season.

Season 8 will hair in the first half of 2019 and will air all episodes before the 2019 Emmy cutoff (May 31st)
Turner teased Sansa's arc during the eighth and final season, saying, "She kind of takes ownership over who she is and what she stands for. Over the course of the series she’s been completely unaware of what she wants, where she wants to be, who she really is, and at the end of this season, I feel she is the most self-assured character in the show." Did she just spoil the fact Sansa survives?
Did anyone think she was going to die? I think everyone has a good idea of who is and isnt going to die. The character arcs are pretty clear at this point. Her entire arc throughout the series has been about her learning how to be a survivor. Why would she get killed off aside from shock value?
Hah, the last picture really made me laugh! Tormund Giantsbane's obsession with this woman is so cute :) If there can be something "cute" in GOT
doing a rewatch right now. however much of Charles Dance we got in this series was not enough. great character, great actor, perfect casting.
caption is accurate. actress makes it big. starts dating a hipster in skinny jeans that looks homeless. what a time to be alive
There's zero doubt in my mind that dude was a dork in HS. Now he's throwing it to mother fucking Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Realm, Lady Regnant of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons.

Cersei would also be interesting for the value. I think there will be a definitive conclusion to the story, prestige TV has learned viewers want complete endings but I wouldn’t put it past the show to not give us the happy ending and have Cersei seem defeated but strike at the very end once the rubble is settled. I forget who said it but to the affect of Cersei would burn the city if she could rule the ashes.
Those two visions are meant to be prophetic. Just like the 17 visions in the book. Dany in the throne room represents her journey as a character. She’s finally in Westeros, she’s about to take the IT and she reaches out to the IT but it’s covered in snow and she ends up not taking it. Just like how the next vision she’s reunited with her dead husband and dead son at the wall (spoiler alert: Dany dies at the hands of the white walkers). For those of you not versed with the visions in the books, here you go
