Yup. No limits mentioned in the books or the series. We've long assumed the crypts of Winterfell were gonna be restless.
PLOT HOLE How does he raise skeletons? They have no ligaments/tendons and muscles to move the bones? I call bullshit.
In the book they are ragged and even when brought back limp crawl with whatever damage they received previously. In the show they went pirates of the Carribbean because show writers are trash.
Increasingly-popular fan theory is that the undead Starks are going to rise to fight against the Night King: https://www.quora.com/Will-the-Star...-wights-if-the-White-Walkers-reach-Winterfell I don't buy it, but there it is.
I would buy that theory if BoW wasn't episode 3. they're going to lose and probably lose fairly hard and be forced to retreat south to regroup for one last hurrah. if BoW was the last battle I could absolutely see Starks being raised and they chase Arya out and everyone shits their pants when they see dead Starks piling out of the crypts only for those dead to turn towards the NK and charge but as the first of two battles, I just don't see it. you don't raise an army of undead good guys and lose. basically BoW is Helm's Deep not Minas Tirith.
I believe there was a footnote in one of the books that they use snowsynthesis to power their bodies, which is why the snow comes before them.
Yep you just have some random comment to explain it like on Thank You For Smoking. "Thank God they invented the Smokelator so we can smoke on space ships now."
I don’t think it was explicitly said in the show. I’m just messing around. I’d assume in the show it’s there
Wail* I love that it's as edgy as you'd expect coming from an angsty teenager in this world as it is in our world.
It’s too bad Bran didn’t make it out of the North with Bloodravens’ Dark Sister. Don’t know why the show didn’t include it. Also, I wonder if we’re gonna get Eurons full Valyrian steel plate armor this season.
also, that most of the dragon scenes with dany and jon are north of the wall. What could they possibly be looking for up there, Dark Sister? And we don't see the night king anywhere, could the "dragon battle" actually happen north of the wall instead of at Winterfell? TheRinger went through every scene of the trailer in great detail, they say this dragon scene is clearly inside of something, you can barely see some walls in the background and not outside. Supposedly, their are mentions of a dragon being inside the crypts. Maybe 34 or someone that has read the books can take it from there, but Winterfell is on top of "Hot Springs" which makes the walls warm in the winter so they dont freeze. And its the dragons that appreciate and make the springs hot. Idk, but they claim this might be it all along
The dragon inside the crypts is in reference to Jon himself. I wouldn’t put much stock into it. The only thing that the book kinda mentions is that when King Jaehaerys I visited Winterfell with Queen Alysanne, her dragon might have left a clutch of eggs in Winterfell. As for Jon and Dany being north of the wall, I have no idea. Maybe that’s where she gets killed, as we know in one of her visions in the Tower of the Undying she’s reunited with Drogo and her unboard child there
Maybe they have come with a super cool idea to go up there to capture a zombie to show to Cersei so she'd stop be a cunt? Nah, that would be too stupid.
https://www.theringer.com/binge-mod...f-thrones-season-8-official-trailer-breakdown over an hour breakdown and its awesome. The guy is a huge nerd but so knowledgeable
Leads more credence that the leaks were legit. The NK is after Bran before Bran develops the ability to fully time travel and warg into the person the NK becomes in that scene we got last season. Then Jon kills Bran/NK and ends the whole thing.
All of the scenes in the trailer are from the first three episodes. There has been speculation that Dany and Jon are north of the wall trying to destroy the altar of winter when the battle at Winterfell starts. Granted, I expect zero shots of the NK on Viserion or in any battle with Dany in the trailer. That might be part of the reason Winterfell gets wrecked so hard - unexpected Golden Conpany attack along with no Dany & Jon until the back half of the battle in a last ditch effort to save who and what they can.
It’s the place where the NK took one of Craster’s babies and turned it into a WW. I’m not even sure if that’s what it’s called and I could be dead wrong. I just know that it’s been confirmed that Emilia and Kit filmed scenes alone in Iceland and going north of the wall for something seemed the logical conclusion.
These guys do a really good job covering the show. I listened to all their episode recaps and find that dude to be pretty funny most of the time. Love his Pycelle and Joffrey impressions.
Yes they do episode recaps after each episode as well I've been watching them the last couple seasons (which has been like 3 years now). They do a great job for sure, they explain every detail of the episode so its good when you dont understand something
