im cool with them fuckin id rather they not end aryas storyline by having her marry gendry and go off to storms end though, with that whole “that’s not me” thing and all
I must have missed something, but why do people think the dead Starks will be resurrected? I thought WW could only turn people they were responsible for killing?
once again, HBO officially released these and put them in a small trailer, every single person in here has seen these pics unless you didn't watch the trailers either
i had not seen them. again, if you want to post shit like that use the fucking spoiler thread. please. for fuck's sake.
Spoiling in case I say something some don’t want to know. Spoiler Crypts have gotten a ton of attention in previews and in the opening now. Scenes keep happening in the crypts. We know something has to go down with the crypts. The fact that we see some sort of ghost chasing Arya in an HBO teaser is where a lot of that came from. Arya looks genuinely scared. Not sure we have seen that Arya. Especially not since becoming a faceless man. What could do that to her? Most popular theory is the corpses/ghosts of her family. Mainly her mom and dad.
I just need to know Is there going to be a white walker Hodor reveal I’m not sure my heart could take our sweet Wylis as a WW
A lot of people avoid the official accounts and any kind of previews. E.g. I don't watch the previews at the end of episodes.
Said the guy throwing a pissy childish tantrum because his favorite character is following a different arch than he'd prefer
Spoiler So the wight couldn't get out of a wooden box all the way to Kings Landing but now all of a sudden the Night King is going to raise up the dead in the stone sarcophagi in the crypts beneath Winterfell and they're going to manage to get out and attack people? Don't buy it.
I think at any given time we have only seen a dozen white walkers together but that final scene as they approach there seemed to be hundreds if not thousands of white walkers.
Spoiler The NK also has the power to break the ground... He could possibly crack the saracophagi... idk its a way around the point you make.
I have a friend who is very much into the books and he said that he felt that Craster wasn't the only one giving up new born children. That some felt the wildings would do the same so they would be left alone.
Spoiler 1:10 of this clip This video also kinda confirms the idea that the NK and the White Walkers can not be killed by fire.
If there’s one thing that would get Sean Bean to do a cameo it’s the opportunity to die once again on screen
Now that Jaime is back at Winterfell and serving under Brienne's command, all of Ned Stark's greatsword is back in Winterfell.
If this were true, why wouldn’t he raise every dead person in Westeros? There almost has to be a time element to the resurrection..
He can't warg into anything that's alive but "raising the dead" is basically simultaneous mass warging.
Spoiler Any magic dealing with the crypts or even winterfell in general hasn’t been properly explained yet so it’s impossible to know. Personally I think it’s more likely that any starks “woken” from the dead would fight for the good guys but it’s unclear. The knight king has animals, white walkers, giants, a white dragon and a fuck ton of whites. A win for the good guys (whether next week or by the end of the season) will likely mean they were able to figure out how to kill the night king, they figure out how to somehow level the playing field a bit or no one wins and some sort of truce is formed again. I really don’t know what role the crypts play but there is too much evidence of some kind of magic there for something not to happen in my opinion.
Spoiler How mad would you get if you get a scene of a sarcophagus rattling in the crypts as the Night King tries to raise the dead, cutaway to a scene where Jon is almost overtaken by the dead in the field and then somehow undead Ned Stark charging in to save him
Spoiler The HBO images are meant to throw everyone off. No, all six of those main characters are not going to die in one episode. Settle down, ya fucking pansies.
As the battle seems lost, Bran goes down to the crypts and starts stabbing his dead family members with dragon glass to create Coldhands-like good guy walkers. We cut to the battlefield as the reanimated Starks appear, cue The Boys Are Back In Town, fade to black.
Can we threadban this guy if he's just going to try and find non-existent holes in the best theories shared ITT by actual good posters
Didn't they leave that part of the prophecy out of the show? So we don't really know how it will be done.
yeah i get that, but he has a history, going back several seasons, of posting spoiler type shit in threads and then claiming he didn't know it was a spoiler.
Did they? We've known for some time that Bran can see the past, that the NK wants to spread 'winter' and that he had marked/was after him. Wish they would have elaborated a little more on the why or just left it out altogether
