Not mentioned yet But they dug a moat around Winterfell, that they said they will light on fire in the war room Anyone outside that moat is likely gonna die for sure, Brienne, Jamie, Greyworm, Podrick, and Jorah are all presumed to be outside that moat as the battle begins. I predict Brienne sacrifices herself to save Jaime and maybe Podrick and get them over the Moat
Spoiler wonder if there’s payoff with that little girl Davos and Gilly spoke to if the dead in the crypts are in fact raised by the NK
Fun theory: the night king brings all the dead kings and queens and such down in the crypts back to life and they kill all the women and children. Edit: Damn I got Wu 'ed
and I'm pretty sure the White Walkers can walk right through fire. it stops the Others, but not the Walkers.
the actor playing Gendry was really reminding me of Christian Bale last night. just in the look, not the acting prowess obviously.
Yea Bran mentioned the NK wants to bring about an endless winter and to erase their world. Bran is it's memory.
yeah I probably came across as being more of a dick/more upset about it than I intended because I cuss a lot. my bad Sterling A
NK doesn't show for this battle because he's not a fucking idiot and understands its a trap... The White Walkers and undead are defeated but the North have significant losses. They start the journey south because they are without food and Dany wants the throne. Night King enters a empty Winterfell and resurrects all the Starks in the crypt and marches to KL for one final battle.
It’s obviously not going to happen, but it would be an incredible cultural experiment to see how the fans would react if the night king won. People would lose their fucking minds if the next 4 episodes were just the Night King methodically killing everybody and then ending the world. Would make people’s response to Lost look like Breaking Bad. I hope it doesn’t end that way, but goddamn that would be funny.
The one thing this theory doesn’t do is give Jon credit for his choice. Maybe he doesn’t deserve it because he has been shown to be naive, but what does he see in Danny otherwise? Also simply wanting the throne doesn’t make her bad or crazy like her father. Everything doesn’t have to be black and white. She has definitely shown signs of being an asshole and compulsive, but she also has shown signs of solid decision making and compassion. Hopefully Jon’s influence puts her over the top and allows her to see reason.
I dunno about rape, but I appreciate her aggressiveness. Could’ve included a line about gendry’s hammer but the writing has been shit. Not sure if I’m complaining the right way
IDK I mean it sounds good but they showed Viserys in the preview unless the NK sends him into battle alone. I think it's pretty obvious the NK wins this battle but it won't be a total victory. Some group (maybe the Unsullied) is going to make a heroic stand and allow a significant portion of the army and people to run like hell towards Pyke. Bran will probably go south towards Kings Landing and the NK gives chase. This would force Cersei to fight the NK and Jon and Dany can flank him trapping him between 2 armies. Set ups the final battle between Jon/Dany and Cersei too
