And how about Tyrion going 2/2 in fucking over the guy who saved his life while ascending to hand if the king/queen.
Dany told a story of not being able to count to 20 as a little girl, and she therefore could not visualize what the Iron Throne looked like given its composition of “thousands” of swords Explain To Joe What He Just Watched could be an entertaining YouTube series
actually i do remember that part because i thought of what littlefinger said about the number of swords when she said there were a thousand or whatever
greyworm: this is our fuckin city and jon snow is our prisoner tyrion (also a prisoner): no these people can just name someone king and then you’re completely powerless greyworm: oh ok
Rumored. Part of what made him so interesting. Dude has been around and seen some shit. Instead we got pirate Bam Margera.
No. His big claim was sailing into smoking sea and coming out alive. He also captured warlocks of Qarth and used them to obtain the dragon horn from the ruins of Valyria.
I think I’d probably be more accepting of the spectacle of it all but the drop in quality from seasons 6-8 is just to pronounced

https://www.theringer.com/game-of-t...8-series-loose-ends-bran-faceless-men-catelyn good article about all the missing loopholes that D&D should of gone over if they had 10 episodes instead of 6...…... - Howlands Reed's secrets (and also Meera's last scene being that awkward and hurtful good bye with bran) - Jaquen H'ghar mysteries (how was he actually jailed in season 1, what else was he up to, was he watching what arya was doing when she left him?) - Quaithe Appearance in Quarth (uhh what?) - The meaning of season 2's comet - Secret of Jon's Resurrection (Tormund boasts about Jon’s resurrection openly around many people and nobody bats an eye ) - Bran's Potential Ability to Change the Past (No. One wonders, in retrospect, about the thematic purpose of Hodor’s death, which read as extraordinary in the moment but now seems oddly isolated, narratively, as the only instance of Bran’s attempting to push magical boundaries.) - Kinvara
Sorry if this has already been discussed, but how/why is Brienne in King's Landing now? Didn't she swear to protect Sansa?
there was no explanation on the show. I guess Sansa released her from her pledge so she could captain Bran's kingsguard.
it's just another example of the writers wanting to include a certain scene - in this case, Brienne writing in Jaime's entry in the book, and they didn't really care about it making sense how they got there.
They would have been criticized either way: Either she goes to KL and writes in the White Book and then warps back to Winterfell for Sansa's coronation (where we complain about fast travel) or she stays in KL to be the new captain of the King's Guard, ala Jaime (where we complain about her vow to Sansa), or she stays with Sansa and doesn't go to KL (where we complain about not writing in the White Book). The easy thing to do would be to have her write in the book while Sansa was at the Kingmaking Council and then return to Winterfell with her. My biggest complaint is that she wrote Jaime's deeds but didn't add a suitable explanation for why he killed Aerys. Jaime told her in the bathhouse, and presumably told no one else. She should have wrote that he killed him to save King's Landing from being destroyed by wildfyre.
I think the oath was more towards the Stark children tbqh and Head of the Kingsguard > anything in the North
dump take a break man. you're the one upset, I'm just giving the best reasoning I can to someone asking a question.
Sansa was the only Stark child that was known to be alive at the time of the oath but I would think Cat would have wanted all of her children to be protected
are you though? or are you still complaining because someone didnt lay out exactly what they were doing because you can’t come up with anything in your head?
I did come up with something in my head then the question was pressed and I gave what I believe was the reasoning from a writing standpoint. they were more worried about getting the Brienne book scene than they were making sure everything made sense. it's not that big of a deal but you're being extra weird about everything in this thread lately.
