We’ve got all the major players in the battle vs the dead in winterfell. Cersei has her army now as well. Our stew is ready and will be served next Sunday
Agree but Jon isn’t really a Stark. And she knows nothing of what he’s done other that the battle of the bastards. She is being what a someone would do if they were a bastard in a family regardless of age or experience. That’s my take anyways...
I'm expecting a brief Jaime trial to begin the episode (not a big secret given the preview). It will then get interrupted by the Night King's army arriving and all hell will break loose before the Jaime hearing can even conclude.
He has had the best arc in the show, and one of the best arcs in the history of television. It's Walter White levels of development. He's going to have to earn the trust of everyone in that courtroom save Tyrion, but he will.
"You gave your crown to save your people....Would she do the same?" holy shit Sam going hard in the paint on Dany
I want a female to look at me the way Dany looked at Jon getting up on the dragon flash flood in her panties
Just like last season, I can’t shake the feeling that the whole thing feels rushed and like crossing off a list of to-dos. None of these reunions and crossed paths felt poignant except for Jon and Arya—they just don’t have space to breathe. It baffles me why these seasons are shortened.
Also the two most satisfying deaths will be Sansa and Cersei fuck them bitches Sansa is supposed to support fellow women in charge not tear them down
What other TV relationship is as evil and unlikeable as Cersei and Euron the whole thing just made me cringe so hard
I agree... they could’ve honestly gone two more seasons and told a proper ending without shit feeling rushed
After Jon tells Arya that he is family too she responds with “don’t forget that”. I took it as her possibly knowing the truth
Ahh may end up being the case. Would make sense because you have built up the Night King then entire time for him to die so quick
Good episode. Like others have said Sam stole the episode. The way he handles the news of his dad and brother with basically just facial expressions was incredible. Also how much older is Dany than Jon?
Finished episode on HBO East, immediately flipped to HBO West to watch the last of the penultimate and finale from last season while fully planning to watch the season 8 premier again.
I’m predicting they’re going to lose badly at winterfell, maybe even lose another dragon. Retreat, wind up dealing with Cersei while regrouping, then face the night king in kings landing for all the marbles.
She was an infant when Kings Landing got sacked and Jon was probably born around that time. So only a few months.
I feel like Bran revealing that Viserion is under the Night King's control just might have led to a bit more discussion about that very big deal.
Don't think it was meant that way at all. It was meant as "you brought these outsiders in here, and we get it on some level, but don't forget who your real family is."
I think approx within a year of each other, is what I remember from one of the indeepgeek podcasts. Book readers might know for sure
They were very young when the fled during Robert’s Rebellion. I’m not sure it’s ever mentioned but I’d guess 5-7 years.
People calling it rushed in an episode where almost nothing major happened. I don’t think anything they do could make some of you happy.
