Brienne is absolutely dying next week. The whole knighting feel good moment was a dead giveaway

A wight version of either Brienne or Jamie is killing the other or vice versa

 

I see their point but once 75% of the main characters are dead next week we don't need their problems resolved. We only need to resolve who wins the war to end all wars and who sits on the throne.

I will be shocked if Jamie, Tyrion or Arya die next week. Pretty much every second tier character is on death watch though.

 

They’re not going to kill off the top billed stars just yet. Jaime is a maybe but I feel like he might have unresolved stuff with Cersei. Tyrion is unlikely given all the Jorah as would-be Hand stuff

 

Bran dies next week. All the talk of how smart and important Tyrion is and then him having a long private talk with Bran, just getting that vibe. Theon is there and redeems himself a bit by trying to defend Bran but both die.

 

Thought for sure Jamie would live long enough to kill Cersei, but yeah...no way he makes it past next week

Great episode and a nice sendoff for the dozen or so well known characters who will probably die in The Battle Of Winterfell. Fuck i'm not ready for this

I don’t see Jaime or Arya either. Gendry will, but Arya won’t.

I'm not sure it would be rushing it because of the glimpses they've shown of it. Tyrion and Varys have seen it and talked about it. Everyone Tyrion talks to asks him if she's like her father. I'm not sure they'll go that route, but I think they've done enough to plant the idea where it won't take hours of new story to believe it.

 

I don’t think the NK shows up. They think they’re setting a trap for him.

 

I liked how the battle strategy planning made absolutely zero mention of the 3 dragons.

 

Talk about lazy writing: They aren't going to kill off ALL the minor characters next week.

I think you'll see some of the major/minor characters suffer severe wounds, and they'll play a small role in episode four to focus on what's happening in Kings Landing.

 

Yeah I don't pay close enough attention in spelling in all their names so my Westeros spelling is off sometimes.

I think Ayra has a better chance of dying next week cause of her line on how she can't wait to see this face of death.

I think both Tyrion and Jamie survive, then on the retreat sir Bronn see's his chance to earn that gold and kills Tyrion and Jamie kills Bronn in revenge.

 

They said they are taking them with Bran but they’re going to stay back until the NK gets there.

 

It was an incredible hour of television despite basically nothing of significance happen.

It was basically a bottle episode!

Other than a quick shot of Ghost (which looked like a repurposed shot from season 5 or 6), there was basically no CGI used.

They saved a ton of money for next week and managed to deliver a killer hour of TV all the same.

 

Agree with this. She could snap into it if Jon wins the long night and the people unite in love for him...it would be totally believable. Even in Essos there were countless examples of her claiming to do what was “right” but actually seeking to satisfy her natural Targ lust for power.

The show has been very consistent in this imo

 

They did say the 2 dragons will give them an edge in the field.

From a strategic planning standpoint, the Bran part makes no sense to me. I get that they want to draw the NK in, but it would be obvious what they're doing if Bran is in the open like that. But they think just putting shitty Theon and his guys who no one has any reason to trust next to him is enough?

 

Northerners would never have seen anyone like that ever. Southerners would have because of the ports and trading but not Northerners. Ain’t no damn good reason to ever really go up there.

The wild part of the deaths is that we’re gonna have to watch them get killed and then killed again by their own friends.
