I haven't watched much (if any) of Arkansas and I know Mizzou is a bad loss, but how does 18-7 in a power conference have you on the edge of the bubble? Wouldn't they be comfortably in if the tourney started today?
That's what happens when that power conference is the SEC. We got left out last year at 24-7, pretty sure the only power 5 team to ever be left out with 24 wins.
I'm glad I didn't watch the Rebs last night. Sounds like we almost got Johnny Jonesed. I checked the score at dinner to see we were down by 7 in the second half. Hopefully LSU extends Jones' contract pretty soon. I'm confident he's building something special.
It's more of an eye test thing right now It took miraculous comebacks to win at Vandy (down 16 with 5 mins left), 12 point comeback at aTm, bad losses to Miss St and Vandy at home and Mizzou on the road, and blowout losses to the only RPI top 30 teams we've faced in Ok State, Kentucky, and Florida. It took a comeback to beat LSU on Saturday. We were down 13 at one point. We're playing horrible basketball right now. We have the talent to compete at a high level, but it seems like the team has quit on Anderson.
