Daniel Gafford is going to be really good. I'm not sure we'll get him for more than a year though if he keeps playing like this
Petty and Sexton put on a show. It's still Alabama A&M though that matchup on Thanksgiving against final four lock BYU on Thanksgiving will be a good test
I guarantee they won't. Bama is solid, but they've got plenty of weaknesses too. That FT shooting is a problem.
Jaylen Barford was mistakenly identified as a suspect of a shoplifting incident at a Walmart NM in Fayetteville by a Fayetteville police Sgt. Turns out it was his girlfriend and not him that was cited. The long track record of Fayetteville PD targeting athletes to get their names in the paper continues.
I think it'll be the second best conference in the nation this year. Quite a turnaround. UK, FL, A&M, Bama, Arky all looking very good. I expect at least one team to get in the dance out of the group of Auburn, Vandy, Tennessee, or maybe even MSU too. Auburn is the biggest wildcard with those suspensions and their usual inconsistency. If they get those guys back, hate to admit it but they could be pretty good if they play even a hair of defense (still might not). Best news is there doesn't seem to be any god awful teams. LSU is kinda bad but I don't think we will have those past Mizzou, LSU, Auburn dregs that are RPI killers this year
Wiley is the big piece for us...an actual post presence on offense will keep us from getting into as many 3 point contests. Purifoy doesn't really play defense anyways so he's just another scorer (albeit one of our best).
Purifoy is probably the most inconsistent player we have too though, he can go from best player on the court to a nonfactor from game to game.
Have literally heard nothing. I'm sure the battle between the admin and the coaching staff is doing nothing but hurting their progress.
Oklahoma St is bringing back a guy they had been holding out for our game tonight. Would expect everyone else to start coming back pretty soon (or ruled ineligible)
little did the SEC know when they took A&M and Mizzou that A&M would be the basketball powerhouse and Mizzou would be the one who made an early appearance in ATL for the SEC football championship
Mizzou gets past a sneaky Emporia State team, 67-62. If we would've hit all the shots we missed, the score would've been 157-62.
Please, Kentucky led by double digits for all but 1:29 of the second half. And at least Troy is a D1 that went to the tournament last year.
Letting a 20+ point lead dwindle down to single digits in the 2nd half against subpar competition in fucking Rupp is struggling. Y'all had a 6 min scoreless streak, yeah? Spin it how you wish though, dumbass
