Jake Scott Fran Tarkenton keep me updated on the coaching search names. UGA needs a recruiter with all that in state talent year in and year out in state. Fox wouldn't play the game and rarely ever landed a top 5 player in state, and no one worth a shit from out of state is going to want to play there with the way the program has been the last 10 years (I know how it feels).
I think Hall should be back. It didn't seem to be a really bad one watching him walk off the floor, but idk
It's about damn time Gabriel started consistently hitting open 3s. Really been shooting well the last few games, not just today. and lol PJ Washington just hit a three.
I hate Crean, but he is at least willing to recruit the big guys and play the game. His in game coaching leaves a lot to be desired though.
Kentucky's effective FG% today they highest they have ever recorded in the KenPom era, and Alabama ranked 10th in defensive efficiency coming into the game.
Is there anything in the world refs love more than calling the away from the ball, totally inconsequential offensive foul?
Really disappointing game all around for us, but props to Tenn for hitting a lot of contested shots to maintain that confidence. Go beat UK
Can't remember if it was the strength coach, but Barnes decided a couple of his assistants deserved a raise, so he just paid them out of his pocket. Which is one of those minor NCAA violations that you self-report and nothing happens. Course he knew that at the time, but didn't care.
In a year where this tourney was supposed to be the most competitive it’s ever been Kentucky is going to take the crown yet again smdh
The night before refs stopped a possession after Silva had just gotten an offensive rebound and was about to dunk it because an Arkansas player walked off to the baseline with an injury. Way to get it right this time, guys.
Yeah but he was at the arena but watching in the locker room. Don't think he'll be in protocol that long.
Well look at that another complete bullshit rebounding foul on Kentucky. SEC needs to fix these fucking refs.
Kentucky in foul trouble. Don't see them winning if they keep getting called for off-ball rebounding fouls. No depth inside with Vanderbilt out.
Looked like Tennessee player was in position waiting for the board and Gabriel came through his body to grab the ball. Then somewhat shoves him away with his arm . That's a foul.
If by shove you mean put your arm straight in the air to get the board, then yes, you would be correct.
Eh, looks like both went straight up for the ball. and when Gabriel went higher and grabbed the board, their arms got tangled. But since Gabriel wasn't there first, the ref gave TN player the benefit of the doubt. Foul could have been called on either, or not at all. It was a weak foul regardless.
Kentucky really missing Jarred Vanderbilt today. Alas, this SEC Tournament has shown laughably stupid it was for Knox to get First-Team All-SEC and Co-Freshman of the Year over Gilgeous-Alexander.
