When Pearl Vanderbilt doesn't have near the talent of Florida, but against UT, I could clearly see Vandy had an offensive scheme they were executing. Florida sometimes seems like their plan to get it in the post is to take a bad three and hope for an offensive rebound.
one bright spot in this disaster of a season is freshman Aaron Nesmith he's proven to be a solid 3-pt shooter who is likely to improve in that area. And he doesn't take stupid 2-pt jumpers. Really hope he doesn't transfer
I know Auburn fans like Bruce Pearl. I like Pearl. But Pearl gave minutes to his son Steven over Jeronne Maymon. Maymon's knees eventually turned to dust. But he was second team All-SEC the next year under Cuonzo. I'd be less than thrilled that Steven is an assistant coach. I went to high school and college with Steven. He is aggressively dumb.
I played at the gyms at UT against (or watched from nearby) several UT players. Wayne Chism, Swiper Boy, Bobby Maze, etc.. I once saw Steven Pearl play in a pick-up game, try his absolute hardest, and be like the 6th best player on the floor (he was the only UT basketball player playing).
Steven joined my high school basketball team the year after we went like 0-16 before our "star" player got academically eligible. He was the 3rd best player on the team next year. Of course he should play crunch time against Kentucky, Florida, and in the NCAA tournament.

its happened a bunch this year. Players are starting to argue/yell with MA as they come off the floor too. Its obvious what is happening. We'll see if our new AD has the balls to make the move or continue to let our bball program dip further into irrelevancy
I imagine we'll take a stab at Beard at TTU and likely get turned down, maybe take a swing at Marshall at Wichita St and get turned down, and then hopefully go after someone like Musselman at Nevada, Sampson at Houston, or someone like that.
