I'm leaving Saturday morning, regardless of outcome. Might stay with my sister and brother-in-law in Atlanta Thursday night and drive to Columbia Friday morning or just spend Thursday and Friday nights in Columbia.
Harbison is super chainy but it's safe and like a 18-20 dollar Uber to the CLA and the bar and restaurant districts around there. All the hotels right there are like 450+ which is nuts
These God damn phones, man. My wife the other day "When we first started dating and we emailed/sent MySpace messages, you didn't make all these misspellings and jumbled words like you do now. I probably would have thought you were stupid and stopped talking to you" Spoiler
I thought it was the tablets fault? And damn... even Mrs Stuhly thinks you’re a retard. The effects of PED’s on full display here folks. Stay clean.
Anything that involves typing with thumbs. Keyboards were designed a certain way for a reason. Thumbs should be used just to hit the space bar.
So now that they've been turned down by Billy Donovan and Brad Stephens they're settling on Calipari?
I'll believe the Calipari rumors when he actually leaves. His name pops up for every notable job and most of the time it's a bunch of BS.
The Calgary airport bar is now the LSU watch party for me. I’ll try to swing the French Canadian angle to get the locals on my side
Oh I know. I’ll chalk it up as a bad joke on my part. I work in oil and gas... Alberta hates Quebec/Toronto energy policy. But this place loves to party.
Prohm has to be the guy right? Although with Bama's storied basketball history maybe they can get Calipari away from Lexington?
It feels so fucking good to be able to watch my dawgs play in the big dance again. Go dawgs and fuck the fighting Hugh Freezes.
More than likely. I'd like to see us feel out Matta to see if he's in any better position health wise. I'd like to see us throw a big offer at Kelvin Sampson too, but with Houston's facility renovations, that's a better job if they even come close to matching pay.
We had such a long shitty run of basketball that I forgot how much different it is rooting for your team vs just rooting for your bracket/chaos
As as a South Carolina fan, I can appreciate this sentiment. The final four run from 2 years ago was so much fun. I had completely forgotten how amazing the tournament can be when you actually have a rooting interest in a team that is playing.
Refused to make staff changes after a second straight 20-loss season. Which is a real testament to how insistent he is on surrounding himself with family and yes men Fuck all evangelicals
I feel like Bama could be a very dangerous team with a competent coach. Tons of talent on that roster.
Our Rivals guy said he heard at the SEC Tourney that Vandy wanted the guy from Northern Kentucky, John Brannen.
Who knows. We've made two terrible hires in a row now. I have no idea what we're going to do. Just glad Avery's gone. He did a good coaching job his first season with a bad roster, and it was all down hill from there.
Is there a cliff notes answer on why it didn't go well? I thought it was a good hire at the time but I notice he didn't win too many games
Main thing was no concept of how to teach fundamentals. We were the laziest/sloppiest team with a basketball I've ever seen. And no accountability for the players who were so careless either. This year we had a huge problem with effort. It was embarrassing how little they seemed to care most games.
