Curry is a tough one to swallow, but all those others were to blue bloods, or better programs. It sucks but it's not like those are huge misses you should expect to land. I dont think many coaches that arkansas could expect to land would be favored going against Kentucky and Florida ect. FWIW he recruited much better at Ark than Mizzou. Worse results though....

Also lost Isaac McBride to Kansas who was begging to play for Arkansas but we didn’t offer until after Kansas, and then showed up to his in home calling him Isaiah. He’s just woefully underprepared way too often these days.
Those are just the examples off the top of my head. You aren’t going to be successful in Arkansas if you don’t play the recruiting game in Little Rock and Memphis. His mentor Nolan did, but he didn’t. Again, great dude... average recruiter and a very poor in game coach.
Horrendous in game coach. Never every adjusts. More than anything - with the way cbb is officiated you just cant run his system anymore. Youre completely at the whim of officials.
He relies like 95% on transfers. That's fine for Nevada but how often does that approach work at a bigger school?
Nic Weatherspoon is slated to come back after a mystery suspension that left him out of the last quarter of basketball games. Should put the state dawgs back in a mix for a ticket to the dance next year.
Don't think the LSU job looks attractive with possible NCAA sanctions incoming. Also think the A&M job should be higher due to in-state talent. The right coach could be successful there very quick imo
The Arkansas/Bama debate is an interesting one. Personally think Arkansas is a better job with better facilities and obviously better fan support since football is king in Tuscaloosa. Agree that aTm should be higher. As of now I’d have it as Arkansas, aTm, Bama, LSU, then Vandy. I know people will think I’m being a homer, but Arkansas basketball is the king of our programs when it comes to fan support a lot like our baseball program. We’ve just neglected it for a couple years trying to force nostalgia. Our football program is a joke.
like who would rank fucking Alabama as the #1 job we at least went to a Sweet 16 with a literally mentally handicapped head coach what did Bama accomplish with a coach who went to a NBA Finals and was ROBBED and performed one of the all time choke jobs in NBA Playoff history the following year
