Our kids do this every year under Howland. Reggie's not leaving, but he will be getting his draft grade.
I could be wrong but under the new rule can’t you declare, hire an agent and still come back if no money changes hands and you don’t get drafted?
Somebody do a 1-14 of coaches now that Stackhouse and Musselman are officially in. Or I guess a 1-13 given LSU's status
1. Cal 2. Howland 3. Pearl 4. Barnes 5. Buzz 6. F. Martin 7. Oats 8. Crean 9. Davis 10. White 11. C. Martin 12. Stackhouse I’d put Musselman around Kermit.
1. Cal 2. Barnes 3. Pearl 4. Frank 5. Buzz 6. Kermit 7. Howland 8. Oats 9. Mussleman 10 Cuonzo 11. Crean 12. White 13. Stackhouse
Crean should be below Howland and I agree with Truman’s. He’s a shit human being, but what he did turning around Indiana after Sampson wiped them out was pretty impressive and UGA is a sleeping giant if he pulls classes like the next one he has coming in.
Calipari Spoiler Pearl Spoiler Buzz Spoiler Barnes Spoiler Kermit Spoiler Oats Spoiler White Spoiler Howland Spoiler Crean Spoiler Martin Spoiler Musselman Spoiler Cuonzo Spoiler Stackhouse
Grant Williams declared as well. Im not sure how well his game will translate either, but I also dont know what another year in school will do for him either.
Me neither. He's shot under 40% all three years of his career. Making shots isn't going to get any easier in the NBA for a 5'11" player
That backcourt of Hagans, Quickley, and Maxey is going to be something else. Not even to include a solid role player in Jemarl Baker (unless he transfers back to the west coast like I have heard rumored) and who knows with Herro. Could use some depth if Baker and Herro leave, but they do have 3 small forward commits so one of them should be able to slide over to the 2. Kind of an odd class for the Cats with only one guard and one big (the grand transfer).
He coached there under Huggins. The brand of basketball he coaches is the brand I associate with successful Cincinnati basketball. Would be a great fit IMO.
Crean is that bad? I honestly don’t know. Thought he had some good teams at Marquette and Indiana He’s recruiting pretty well this cycle. Getting some CB’d for Harlond Beverly today too.
The knock on Crean imo, is that he's a good recruiter, but not the greatest coach. I also think the SEC is pretty stacked w coaching, so being towards the bottom of the list doesnt necessarily mean youre a bad coach.
