gg gators. We just don’t have the legs to play a full game. We’ll show some fight for a bit before folding late. Hopefully Joe coming back sparks a run that gets us back onto the bubble
Officials are going to the monitor after possessions now to see if they can find anything during timeouts.
He’s probably Frank’s greatest project at Carolina. Guy is just a different, especially these past few games.
Getting blasted by double digits against a 2-10 Tom Crean team is something. That downy smug sure didn’t last very long.
The only thing more sad than that is thinking Arkansas still has a chance to make the tourney And that Tom Crean led team may end up with a better conference record than the Muss bus. Yikes.
Well the cowbellz are getting the calls and the falls at the moment. Bubble bath is going down the drain I do believe. Sweet little precious baby Jesus wave your wand please and thanks.
Let it all out Rob. That will definitely help you forget the fact your “top 15” team just lost a horrible game to the leagues worst coach/team.
He had a good looking shot from the start. You could argue he should have gotten more out of him by not being able to take the cheap fouls out of his game and keep him on the court. This isn’t a best player argument. Silva is a superior player.
Silva is superior now but he did not have a good looking shot as a freshman. That thing was ugly. The strides that guy made each year were incredible.
Lol no he didn’t. He almost shot 50% from the field as a freshman and shot above 60% from the line. His shot wasn’t perfect but it wasn’t some project. Kotsar was shot was a project as was his athleticism.
I remember them showing some stat that like 75% of his points were from dunks his freshman year. He was terrible.
50% dunking and lay ups. Wasn’t til later on that he stepped out with any comfort level. Silva was rough early on but the potential was obvious.
Silva was a project. Silva had a ton of raw tools. His shot never looked like Kotsar’s shot. Silva had a natural stroke that grew into a pretty good 3 point shooter by his senior season. He was always effective from the line. Kotsar had great hair as his best attribute. Kotsar turned from a sub 40% Ft shooter to this current iteration. I understand Silva improved, but I’m more impressed by the Kotsar transformation.
I feel like you’re more caught up in Kotsar because his transformation happened in one offseason, which is amazing. I’d say the leap he made from last year to this year is greater than any single year for Silva but Kotsar was the same guy for three years then when we needed him to be a leader he stepped up his effort level and became one. Silva continuously added skills and constantly improved. Silva went from a really athletic Dennis Rodman to the best player on the team.
