There have been a lot of really low scoring games this year. Not even just the SEC, all over the country. I feel like I’ve seen a lot of teams with 20 points or less at halftime which felt really rare last year, maybe I just wasn’t paying as much attention due to Covid.
We haven't proven anything yet. If we beat Oklahoma on Saturday I'll feel better about conference play.
Would’ve fired White before he left the floor. Losing by double digits to an 0-7 SWAC team means you are Chad Morris tier awful and need to be sent packing with a boot in your ass
I never come to this thread. I saw it yesterday and popped in expecting to see SEC Basketball talk and didn't even see the biggest OOC win talked about. The Bama fatigue is real.
If you get fucked it is because y’all kept recruiting during your self imposed restrictions where you said you weren’t, combine that with Pearl’s history of being a sleaze bag liar. That said the NCAA is effectively neutered so you will likely lose a scholarship for two more years so the NCAA can act like they are doing something.
So exactly how they punished Bama for paying Sexton only he got a one game suspension instead of 1+ season suspension.
So two scholarships over 4 years? That is probably a fair punishment. Admittedly I don't remember a lot about it, but I would think this ruling would remove some hesitation on hiring coaches that have show causes? Although I don't think anything occurred during the time that show-cause period, doesn't seem to be any harsher punishment for repeat offenders
My understanding is they couldn’t ever prove any money went to Sexton. Just that the Bama assistant took $3k to setup the meeting with the agent. Think they had Person taking close to $100k with proof of him directly funneling it to players and their families.
