Surely I’m not one person who read all of those in their voices. I was laughing so hard going through those
Probably my favorite one is the flashback, where George is remembering his birthday party. Frank: Blow out the candles! Blow out the candles, I said! Blow out the damn candles! Estelle: Stop it, Frank! You're killing him!
"Yeah but he didn't sleep with both of them" Followed by "Not only that, I broke his thumbs!" Fucking kills me every time
The thing that amazed me about Seinfeld was how broad the audience it appealed to was/is. I always thought that people outside of the NY area wouldn’t “get” a lot of the uniquely NY scenarios. But about 7 years ago I was dating a girl who grew up in middle-of-nowhere Montana and was probably 8 years old when the show ended. I was v surprised to find out that she and her family loved the show, albeit she had some pretty funny/sometimes cringy misconceptions about NYC and Jewish people based on it.
I was 10 when the show ended and lived my entire life in Texas. Maybe my favorite memory with my dad was when I was around 12, sitting at a rehearsal for my sister's dance recital, my dad recounting the plot of 15 different "top five" Seinfeld episodes.
Look at me/ my buddy is in the sports world and hit up his yanks friend and we should be good. Fingers crossed.
