That was horrifying. I was about to eat breakfast too.
How many breakfast burritos did you buy this fine morning?
The best was the TV guys reaction to it. Suggesting he was milking it until they saw the cut.
Higher quality in this match vs. the EPL offering in this time slot.
8 minutes added time, makes sense.
Was actually about the whip up some eggs, turkey breakfast sausage and mushrooms
For breakfast tacos
Full Time at Charlton and Burnley are confirmed as Champions.
That means we get the pleasure of seeing Joseph Anthony Barton yet again in the Premier League.
Looking like Stewart Downing is moving on up as well.
Hometown boy brings his club back to the promised land. Great story that will be repeated for the first 4 months of the season.
Downing's in the championship? Seems like yesterday he was at Liverpool.
My how far they fall.
The Clemson of the Championship
The playoffs are set as well.
#3 Brighton v #6 Sheffield Wednesday
#4 Hull City v #5 Derby County
Son of a bitch.
More balloons than people in the stands at Villa. Meant to post in the EPL thread but it is fitting here as well.
Let's go Owls.
This is all your damn fault.
Yes, on multiple levels. Can't believe Newcastle drew today and Chelsea are god damn pathetic.
Wednesday took a huge step towards Wembley. 2-0 today against Brighton. Brighton played the final 30 minutes down a man after using all 3 subs prior to Knockaert's injury. Sidwell, Hemed, and Goldson all went off injured in a 10 minute span on either side of the half.
Go Wednesday. Not sure if I've told this story... But I used to play pickup at this park in Milan. Mostly South American immigrants, a few Italians, a few Americans, and one crazy mid 40s Brit. Dead of winter, below freezing temps... And he comes decked out in his Sheffield Wednesday kit each and every weekend. Loved that guy.
Yeah a spurs fan I work with is hoping they make it up as they're one of the great historical clubs in England.
Hull v Derby kicking off in a couple of minutes.
Hull up 1-0 after 30 minutes. Abel Hernandez with a long ranger after a horrible Derby turnover.
It is not Derby's day. A double deflection including the face of a defender ends in an own goal. Hull up 2-0 40 minutes.
Was really hoping Hull didn't bounce right back up. Hopefully they lose at Wembley if Derby don't manage to somehow overcome this deficit.
Disappointing for Derby really. Just a stupid giveaway for the first goal that undid Derby's dominance to start.
Not near enough Darren Bent in this match.
That about sums up Derby's day.
Hull have killed off Derby at the death. 3-0 with just seconds left.
Brighton all over Wednesday. Could be 4-0 already.
Hold on you Owls!
And a cross some how goes all the way through. 1-1
That was a fun match. Really thought Brighton would at least get the second at some point. Wednesday had to work their asses off to not concede after the first.
Wednesday vs Hull most likely
Brighton are becoming the new Forest in terms of shitting the bed in the playoffs.
Yet another club Topper supports that crumbles down the stretch.
Wolves 33/1 (joint 3rd bottom) to win the league and 9/2 (4th favorite) for relegation.
I don't even.
Come on Derby
Do they do away goals in this?
Hey, an entertaining match today. Nice.
And yes, I do believe away goals is the first tiebreaker.
NVM. no away goals.
away goals don't count for championship playoffs
edit: darn it
Hull did not sell out their allocation for the final.
Kickoff just happened on BEIN or your favorite streaming site.
Fuck off hull.
Come on Wednesday.
Hell of a goal.
Tough call to eat the whistle on that handball call.
Hull are back in the PL. No one is excited.
