Benevento had lost their first 14 games this season. Down 2-1 to Milan in stoppage time and this happens:
So were Benevento a miracle to get promoted last year? Seems crazy for top flight teams not to get a point until December.
Not sure about Benevento specifically but a lot of newly promoted teams struggle in Serie A for whatever reason. Pescara only had 16 points last year and the promoted teams this year are the current bottom 3.
Anyone watch the Juve documentary on Netflix? I watched the first episode last night. It looks like a Hard Knocks knockoff and it's nowhere near as good at humanizing the players, but I thought it was pretty good. Though it is in Italian with subtitiles so it doesn't work for my usual "put something on in the background while I'm on my phone" routine.
You guys made the coaching change Roma should have made 4 months ago. Crazy how that can affect things.
I wasn't sure what to expect from Gattuso as a coach. Been fun so far, but I also have a feeling it's a ticking time bomb
Is this Juve/Napoli game not being televised in English at all? Did BeIn win the rights for next season or should I brush up on my Spanish?
Napoli win on a legendary Koulibally header in stoppage time. They're 1 pt behind Juve, with Juve having to play @Inter and @Roma still.
Enjoy getting bent over by UEFA Bankz Maybe Pallotta knew what he wasn’t taking about when he questioned Milan’s spending.
The biggest issue is if it’s anything like Roma or Inter you will get 3 years of being royally fucked every summer.
Some of the best news in months. The Rickets family is about to acquire full ownership of Milan They took over the Cubs and turned them into a premier franchise in baseball from the ground up. This is amazing news
Roma may be looking for new owners now that the stadium has been delayed again thanks to some bribery scheme.
Italy is a fucking mess. So far behind the major leagues in europe from a TV standpoint and stadium. Such political garbage. Let these teams build a fucking stadium.
I came to the realization it was happening a week ago, but Nainggolan leaving Roma for Inter is still weird to me. I get it, but I also dont get it.
