Well guys our top play keeps rolling on and i expect it to continue last week we were good showing a profit and would like to keep that going again on sunday today in the college game was alittle rough but we were on a great roll hated to have that kind of day but those happen......I will give small insights on my plays this week!!!!!!!

    5unit- Carolina +10

My how things have changed back in january it was the panthers favored by 10 and 10 months later the cards are the 10 point favorites just do not think the cards will be as sharp after the big win out east verus the giants....

    5unit- Houston -3

I said before the season that the texans would make the playoffs and this month they must go 3-1 to really have a shot and this is a game they must win the bills have not won a game after there bye week since 1999 and are 2-8 ats during that time.....

    5unit- Oakland +17 -120

I know the raiders are bad but they almost beat the chargers opening week and the raiders are 7-1 SU and 6-1-1 ats after there bye week last 8 seasons and remember they have been awful the last 7 seasons so that is impressive......

    8unit- N.Y.Giants -1

The giants are coming off b2b losses and now face a divisional foe i just do not think that this eagles o-line will be able to hold off this gmen defense and expect alot of pressure on mcnabb and you take away those 2 big plays monday nite and that eagles offense was below average.......

    8unit- Jags/Titans under 45

I have faith that coach fisher has lit a fire under this defense during there bye week and expect them to be alot sharper as this jags team gashed them on the ground earlier in the year as the jags won 37-17 i see this going under here.....

    10unit- Dallas -9.5

I know there are some who do not like to back the boys and hey i'm one of them but there coming off a big win and face the seahawks at home here with division games on deck and we think with that cowboys d-front against a shaky seattle pass protection could spell doom for hasselbeck....Also the hawks are 2-9 SU and 1-10 ats after there bye week over the last 11 seasons how can i go against that.........

    15unit- Baltimore -3 -120 (Top play)

I know all about the broncos yes there a big suprise but there two big wins against the pats and boys were both in mile high and the thing that has killed the ravens defense is the big play but the broncos rank #21 in yards per pt which means they are more of a long drone out offense....Then there is the ravens they have dropped there last 3 games but look at the difference between these 2 clubs while the broncos big wins have come at home the ravens had a passed dropped inside the 10 yard line to lose to the pats then the bengals scored in the last 20 seconds and then 2 weeks ago they took it to the vikings and that top 5 defense inminnesota scoring 31 points and missing a 46 yard fg to win it.....All 3 of those teams offenses are better than this broncos team the best offense the broncos have faced on the road is the chargers who rank #13 and cannot run the ball and today they face the ravens who are the #5 offense and can run the ball and this o-line has only allowed flacco to be sacked 10 times this year so this is also the best offensive line the broncos have faced this will be one hungry ravens team who i believe will have worked out alot of there defensive problems during this bye week......Lets take the ravens as our top play of week 8!

Minnesota +3 Green Bay (Packers 23, Vikings 21) The lines are tight this week and Vegas surprised me by installing the pack as a full 3 point favorite in this one. I figured Minnesota for a PK or better. While I don't disagree with them, I think the public will and this line will fall, so I'm plunking down early. After a couple solid weeks against weak opponents, I think the Pack will have a couple bad bounces in this game. Favre has dreamed of this game -- he had reservations for his family MONTHS ago. I'm not betting against him today.

Denver +3 +110 Baltimore (Broncos 21, Ravens 17) Baltimore is not the fearsome defense of the past and could play into the Broncos conservative gameplay.

Arizona -10 -115 Carolina (Cards 30, Panthers 10) Great matchup for the surging Cardinals, who are #1 against the run and have nothing to fear from the pass.

Seattle +9.5 -105 Dallas (Cowboys 24, Seahawks 20) A couple Cowboy mistakes should keep this game interesting.

Oakland +16.5 -110 San Diego (Chargers 33, Raiders 17) Not a ringing endoresment of the Raiders but I like their chances of hanging 16.

Now I am not suggesting the 6-0 Colts are going to lose this game outright mind you, but things have been far too easy this season for Indy, and I think today is the day they get tested.

San Francisco will turn back to Alex Smith to handle the QB duties, and he did look sharp in last week's comeback, but loss at Houston.

The Colts have won 15 straight regular season games, but remember this, they are just 3-6 against the spread as a home favorite since last season, and today's line is a tad inflated if you ask me.

Michael Crabtree will only get better with each week, and the Niners will be able to run the ball with frank Gore that is as long as they don't get jumped on early. I happen to think they WON'T get jumped on early, as I have a feeling the Colts will be taking this game a little lightly early on.

San Fran still owns positive spread numbers under the intense Mike Singletary, as they are 9-3-2 their last 14 games with the points. A closer look at that spread mark shows a 5-0-1 dog spread mark their last 6.

I like the 49ers to give the coasting Colts a bit of a test today.

Take the points, as 50 Dimer San Francisco covers this generous spot.

    25 DIME RELEASE

    Minnesota

This line has been a solid 3 most of the week, but I want you to buy up the 1/2 point for insurance, making Minnesota +3 1/2, giving us a margin of error that would result in a win should the Vikings in fact lose the game by a field goal.

If your line is already +3 1/2, still buy the extra half point, making it Minnesota +4, because as I've explained in the past, 4 is one of the strongest numbers you cross when deciding on purchasing added insurance in the form of 1/2 points.

    Sunday's Lineup
50 Dime --- RAVENS (absolutely buy the 1/2 point down, whether your line is -3, -3 1/2 or even -4. those numbers are all key numbers in the NFL)

BALTIMORE RAVENS --- It's very rare you will see me follow up a 50-dime play on Sunday after I released one on Saturday, so that should tell you how much I love this game. I was absolutely ecstatic when I saw this line released with Baltimore as the favorite. Here we have an undefeated Denver team facing a Ravens team having lost three straight... and the Ravens are the favorites? You bet everyone is on the Broncos, and why shouldn't they be? Every week it seems as if we say, "this is the week Denver loses because they're really not that good." And every week the Broncos seem to prove the critics wrong, winning rather convincingly. Well, now it seems as if everyone has bought into the Denver Broncos... and if that isn't enough to scare you away from the Broncos, nothing will.

The Ravens are clearly better than their 3-3 record would indicate and the bye week couldn't have come at a better time. After starting the season firing on all cylinders (3-0 record), the Ravens have dropped three straight games, all by 6 points or less... so it's not like this team is getting blown off the field --- they've been very competitive in all 6 of their games this season. The two biggest shockers in Baltimore this season has to be the fact that this offense is 100x better than we thought it would be in the beginning of the season, but the defense hasn't been nearly as good as in past years... especially against the pass. What's going to be interesting to watch is the matchup between former Broncos CB Dominique Foxworth and WR Brandon Marshall. Foxworth spent the last few years in Denver, getting to work against Marshall in practice every day. As good as Marshall is, Foxworth knows his tendencies and should be able to do a good job of containing him.

I'm banking on the fact that Baltimore will keep Knowshon Moreno and Correll Buckhalter under wraps most of the game, forcing Kyle Orton to beat them on long second and third downs. The Ravens are one of the best teams in the NFL in first down defense, and if they can play up to that level today, the Broncos will struggle on offense like they haven't struggled before. And please don't look at their recent game vs. San Diego as a measuring stick of how far this offense has come. Remember, Eddie Royal scored once on a punt return and once on a kick return, so their point total was a bit fabricated. I'm not saying they can't score on special teams again today, but the Ravens do a much better job than San Diego does in that department. Plus, I'm not sure it's fair to compare the Chargers pathetic defense with Baltimore's.

As for Baltimore's improved offense, it starts and stops with second-year QB Joe Flacco. As good as he was a rookie last year, leading his team to the AFC playoffs, Flacco has been even better this season hitting on 64% of his passes for 1674 yards and 11 TDs. Just the fact that Flacco has shown the ability to move the ball downfield with his arm has opened things up for RB Ray Rice. No one has been better than this guy over the last few weeks and there's nothing Denver's defense has shown me that would indicate they'll be able to slow Rice down. And the great thing about Rice and this offense is... if he's not getting the job done on the ground, they'll just turn him into a receiver out of the backfield --- instant offense. There is absolutely nothing Denver (or any other defense for that matter) will be able to do to stop Rice if he's clicking.

Denver's defense has been good all season and I'm not trying to take anything away from them, but they have yet to see a team that will rely on the screen pass as much as Baltimore has and will today. Now, if Baltimore lines up and tries to run the ball down Denver's throats... it's not going to work. But I have to believe Baltimore coaches and players used the week off to find every weakness this Denver defense has and exploit it.

Again, Baltimore has lost three straight. Can you really, honestly see them losing four in a row? I can't. Baltimore averages over 28 PPG at home while allowing just 14, and this team knows a loss today could prove devastating in the AFC North. Cincy and Pittsburgh are both 5-2 and a loss today for the Ravens would put them at 3-4, a full two games behind both teams. Baltimore is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 home games and 11-4 ATS in their last 15 vs. teams from the AFC. Denver is definitely capable of winning another road game here today, but obviously the "Cinderella run" has to end some time, and today is as good as any. Baltimore wins and delivers an ATS cover, 27-17.

    Ravens -3.5 over Broncos
Baltimore has a great offense that has for the first time in team history has played better than their defense. The Broncos have covered every game this year and in the NFL that trend always finds away to even itself out. Look for the Ravens Defense to show up at home today. Take Baltimore.

    Giants -1 over Eagles
The Eagles have played a soft schedule and are begging to get beat by a team that is better than them. Without Westbrook Philly does not play well. The Giants have too many weapons on both sides of the ball to lose such an important division game. Take the Giants.

    Titans -3 over Jaguars
The Titans had two weeks to think about their huge 59-0 loss to the Patriots. Now Vegas has this 0-6 team favored. The Titans behind a good running game should come up with a much needed win. This game could determine a few jobs if they cant win. Take the Titans.

Minnesota +3 at Green Bay -3
Minnesota covered (-4.5) in their 30-23 win over the Pack at the Metrodome on October 5.
I think Minnesota will do it again, but there's better value in betting on Minnesota on the moneyline at +155.

Miami +3 at NY Jets -3
The Jets the best running game in the league. The Dolphins are ranked second in the NFL in rushing.
New York almost had Miami beat when the teams met on October 12 im Miami, but a last gasp touchdown run with six seconds left lifted the Dolphins past the Jets 31-27 as 3-point underdogs.
This time out take the Jets at home to cover.

    Denver +3 at Baltimore -3
Since starting out 3 and 0, the Ravens have gone 0 and 3 in their last 3, losing to New England, Cincinnati and Minnesota.
The Ravens are a 3 point favorite at home. The Broncos are undefeated and have a terrific running game with Correll Buckhalter and rookie Knowshon Moreno and their defense is ranked #2 in the NFL.
I'm going with Denver the 'underdogs'.

    NYG +1 @ Philly -1
Two teams that are tough as heck to figure out, the Giants stout D and Power run game had them pegged for an easy pick for the playoffs, but there D's getting torched and the run game is only ok, Philly is well, still Philly. But I think the Eagles smell blood in this division, and I see the Giants continuing to reel

1* Denver broncos +3.5 over Baltimore ravens...
Why fight a Bronco team getting over the magic # of +3 when they have shown no reason not to. Denve is 5-1 in L6 ATS vs AFC north teams and are 7-0 ATS vs teams coming off of bye. Orton is not just managing games but winning them with his arm. Marshall and Scheffler should have a field day vs Raven small DB's. The Bronco defense is solid. They have allowed ZERO points in the 2nd half of their last 5 games. Ravens defense is getting old and they are now 17th in the league in total yds allowed and have given up 22 plays of 20 yds or more. Undefeated teams coming off of a bye are 43-25 ATS since Byes started. Those looking for more to whet their appetite with I have a 3* game(10-3 run) in the NFL among my 5 games going today. good luck today and take care - lefty

30 DIME - GREEN BAY PACKERS - (if 3 1/2 you buy the 1/2 and lay 3. if 3 you buy the 1/2 and lay 2 1/2) - They should have beaten them on that Monday night.

That's right. First possession of the game Aaron Rodgers fumbles at the Minnesota 25. He throws a terrible pick at the Vikings 20 in the 2nd quarter as well. So as you can see, 6 points or maybe even 10 points off the board right there.

This is as perfect a situation for Green Bay to get a win here as you could ask for.

They catch the Vikings playing their 5th road game of the year and 8th straight game overall. They also catch the Vikings off 2 very emotional games at home to the Ravens and last week at Pittsburgh.

My question is how much can they have left in the tank for this huge game at Lambeau?

Teams who have faced Pittsburgh the week before have gone 1-5 ATS their next game out. Don't try to tell me the Steelers don't take a little bit out of a team because I know they do.

Green Bay is fresh. They came out of their bye and have just manhandled both the Lions and the Browns, and they couldn't be more ready than they are today for this game right here.

They have changed their base defense a bit from the Monday night affair, and the homefield will be just what the doctored ordered for this big win here.

Hats-off to the Vikings. They have gotten off to a great start but they just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. End of story.

I am all over the Packers to win this game by 10 points or more going away today.

    30 dime Green Bay Packers

15 DIME, 3-TEAM - 10-POINT TEASER - Just like last week I have 3 favorites that I am taking away 10 points from to protect myself from any backdoor madness. Last week it was Indy 45-9, Patriots 35-7 and the Steelers 27-17.

Today it's the Colts again, Dallas and the Arizona Cardinals.

Indy has won their last 4 games by 21, 17, 22 and 36. I don't care who they are playing, or where they are playing, does not matter. They are killing people and their is no doubt in my mind they are the best team in the NFL.

If Matt Ryan can shred this Niners defense, what do you think Peyton Manning is going to do? Exactly. I am taking Indy from -13 to -3 as I type this, and calling for them to handle their business today.

Dallas is going to destroy this Seattle team today. The Seahawks are 1-10 ATS last 11 coming out of their bye week and you add the fact they are rolling with a 3rd string offensive guard, and a 4th string offensive tackle, it will not bode well facing this Dallas defensive line. Can you say sack party in Big D? I can!

This Cowboy team has their swagger back and I will gladly take them from -9 1/2 to a pickem game as I type this, and call for them to take care of their business as well.

Last but not least, Arizona. Panthers will not be able to run the ball versus the Cardinals. That means big Jake will be airing it out against a Cardinals team that forced him into 6 turnovers in their playoff win. Demons come back to haunt Jake today.

Arizona is in the go zone right now after that win over the Giants on the road, and I have full confidence they will do enough to win this game today. Let's take them from -10 to a pick'em game as I type this, and call for them to take care of their business.

Indianapolis, Dallas, and Arizona ALL teased down!

10 DIME MONEY LINE DOG LOCK - ST. LOUIS RAMS - Who are the Detroit Lions to be favored over anybody in the NFL!?!?

Seriously, bye week or no bye week, they are not winning today.

This Rams team comes off getting beat by the best team in the NFL. I don't care if it was by 20 points, or 50 points, no shame in losing to Peyton Manning and the Colts.

Now they are back on the road where they have been very competitive at Washington and at Jacksonville, a game they really should have beaten the Jags.

The bottom line is the Rams are the better team here and in my mind they should be laying -3 not getting +4. That is why I like them on the money line. I feel the wrong team is favored.

I really like Steve Spagunola. Loved him with the Giants, and I do feel he will do great things with this franchise when all is said and done. He does have some talent to work with starting with Stephen Jackson.

Mathew Stafford is banged up along with Calvin Johnson, and even if both play they won't be 100%.

This is the perfect situation and the planet's are aligned for the Rams to get their first win of the year and I truly feel they will do just that.

I am grabbing the Rams on the money line to upset the Lions today.

    Today's Games...
    1. 300,000? Packers

    2. 50,000? Bills

    1. Packers- To the people thinking their getting "value" with the Vikings plus the points here, I have one thing to say: If it looks to good to be true, it probably is! Guys, to say this is the biggest game of the Aaron Rodgers era is not an under-statement, and I fully expect the Packers signal caller to shine in his team's victory today, and here's why:

Let's start with the single biggest problem the Packers had in their last meeting: Protecting Aaron Rodgers. First of all, the possible return of stud LT Chad Clifton is the answer to Jared Allen, who terrorized Rodgers the last time out. Also, the fact the Packers did not allow a sack at Cleveland is a very positive sign. True, its just the Browns defense, but regardless, this young o-line needed an effort like that one after giving up 25 sacks in their first 5 games - and I believe they can build off that today. Rookie LT T.J. Lang has improved in every game he's played, so even if Clifton doesn't play, I expect the rook to step up after an embarassment the last time facing Allen.

Second, say what you will about the Vikings defense, but against a pass-happy team like the Packers, the loss of CB Antione Winfield is HUGE. He was their best cover corner, and you better believe Rodgers will be looking to throw early and often against this short-handed secondary. Also, after torching Detroit and Clevelan in back-to-back games, Rodges comes into this contest more confident than ever in his offense. Yes, they were two NFL doormats, but fact is this offense needed to work out the kinks in protection, and they did just that.

Third, if the Packers lose this game, the Vikings NFC North lead becomes a real issue. Needless to say, that's big-time motivation for a team that came into this season with a lot of expectations. Everyone knows this is a rivalry game, and both teams want to win, but CLEARLY this game is far more important to the Packers, who are seeking revenge and trying to stay alive in the divisional race.

Finally, trends a plenty pointing away from Minnesota and towards the Pack, as the Vikings are just 1-6 ATS in their L7 against winning teams, and just 3-7 ATS in their L10 as a dog! Green Bay is 4-1 ATS over their L5 as a favorite and 8-2 ATS in their L10 in divisional play! In the end, you may think you're getting a bargain with the Vikings at this price, but the Packers learned their lesson, and I fully expect FAR better protection this time around. Given time, Rodgers will take care of business (especially with Winfield out)!

Take the Packers over the Vikings as your top-rated play of the day.

    2. Bills- First thing first, FAR too many bettors are enamored with the Texans in this one, as I see plenty of issues arising for them this afternoon in Buffalo. We all know stud WR Andre Johnson is out, and to say that's a big blow just doesn't cover it. His absence changes the entire gameplan for Buffalo and will allow them to keep their coverages honest (without rolling to one side). Make no mistake, this will not be an easy game for Schaub and company.

While I'm not fan of either Bills quarterback, Edwards or Fitzpatrick, there's no doubt in my mind Fitzpatrick needs to be starting. Even before the concussion, Edwards had lost all of his confidence, and it showed, losing 9 of the L12 games he took the bulk of the snaps. Fitzpatrick meanwhile has not only won 5 straight games as a starter, but he looked good (a.k.a. better than Edwards) in the Bills solid 20-9 win at Carolina last week. It wasn't a huge stat line at all, but he did the one thing that Edwards couldn't do: avoid turnovers! Look for another ball-controll offensive gameplan today, and that should work VERY much in the Bills favor.

The biggest disparity between these two teams comes on the defensive side, where the Texans are extremely vulnerable on the road, allowing 25 ppg on 361 total yards! The Bills meanwhile are a typically stingy AFC East team, allowing 17 ppg on 308 total yards... Not great, but good enough to cover against a Johnson-less Texans offense.

Bottom line, with a HUGE majority of the betting public on the Texans, I'm very much inclined to go the other way here. Texans may be a high-powered offense, but in this particular case (no Johnson, on the road, against a Bills team coming off back-to-back wins), I can easily see them losing outright here. I still want you to take the points, but rest-assured, the majority of the betting public is DEAD wrong about this contest. Buffalo grabs the cash Sunday afternoon at home!

Take the Bills plus the points over the Texans in this NFL match up.

    NY Giants –1 over PHILADELPHIA

Based on talent and situation the G-Men should absolutely bury this rival. In terms of this line, the best thing that could’ve happened last week did, as the Giants lost at home to the Cardinals while the Eagles built a 20-point half-time lead over the Skins en route to a rather easy 13-point victory. That win combined with the Giants loss has these two battling for first place in the NFC East but in terms of talent, they’re not close and it’s not in the Eagle favor. Philly has played one quality opponent this season and was flattened 48-22 by the Saints. It’s other games came against a bunch of compete dregs (Carolina, K.C., Cleveland, Oakland and Washington) and after watching them perform against Washington on Monday night I can now understand how they lost to Oakland. Donovan McNab looks awful, as he keeps missing open receivers with brutal throws but he and the teams poor play has been masked by a 4-2 record against some bad opposition. In fact, on Monday night the Eagles scored three TD’s but they were all lucky, as one was a pick-6, one was a 70-yard run and the other was a 52-yard bomb. The Eagles had great field position all night yet they did not run a single play inside the red-zone because they could not get there against a bad, bad football team. The Giants are livid and hungry after consecutive losses. They, too, were crushed by New Orleans but unlike the Eagles, they beat Oakland 44-7. Philly does not have a quality win this season and based on their play it’s unlikely they’ll get one, as the Eagles are the most overrated team in the business and will be exposed as another bad football team here. Play: NY Giants –1 (Risking 2.02 units to win 2).

    JACKSONVILLE/Tennessee under 45

If you’re a regular reader of this section than you know I’m not a totals guy but frankly, this line looks so out of whack that it has to be considered a must play. Jeff Fisher’s hand is forced in that after opening the year 0-6 and with no shot at making the playoffs, Fisher has been pressured into switching QB’s and he has obliged. Enter Vince Young with his fragile mind and limited talents. Fisher will be running the ball all game, as it’s extremely unlikely that he’ll let Young go to the air much at all. He’ll use his power running game and will throw only when absolutely necessary. The Jags main weapon is also the run, as Maurice Drew Jones is the guy they keep handing the ball over to and he keeps delivering. These two are bitter rivals and Fisher knows that his only chance of a win is to play great defense and the Titans are very capable of that. Sure, both defenses are ranked near the bottom, however, stats can be misleading. The Titans have played Indy, New England, Houston and Pittsburgh and that quartet is capable of shredding anyone. The Jags have encountered Arizona, Indy, Seattle and Houston and those are four can score as well. This total is based on the poor defensive rankings of both sides. Thing is, both have been poor vs the pass and this game will be anything but an aerial attack. Also, these two met a few weeks back and the Jags crushed the Titans 37-17. The Titans threw the ball 48 times that day and got blown out, which is more reason to believe that Fisher will stick to the ground game. In a rare total play, this one stays way, way under. Play: Jacksonville/Tennessee under 45 (Risking 2.26 units to win 2).

    Jacksonville +1.40 over TENNESSEE

I’m not really a big fan of playing the side and total in the same game but after mulling over this one I just can’t pass it up. This one doesn’t need a lot of explanation. The bottom line is we’re getting points against Vince Young and that’s all there is to it. This guy has been sitting and pouting on the bench for over a year, nobody on the team sees him as a leader, especially after he went ape-shit after being benched last season. The only reason he’s even on the bench is because the Titans are paying him a hefty salary and next year it goes up to 14.2M. In fact, Fisher didn’t even want to start VY but the owner of the team, Bud Adams, forced Fisher to make the change. Fisher let the quarterbacks know the forced decision on Thursday and VY took all the first-team snaps. This is an 0-6 team that is coming off a bye week and one has to wonder if the players even want to come back. They have no leader, no wins and no motivation. The Jags beat them earlier 37-17 and that’s when the Titans were not out of it yet. This game is now in Tennessee but the result could be even worse. Keep the points. Play: Jacksonville +1.40 (Risking 2 units).
