Didn't feel like posting this last night because I was tired. Spoiler: E1 Easter Eggs/Spoilers But man did episode one have a ton of easter eggs. Camille clearly had two tramatic things happen to her as a child/teen. But I'm curious if something more recent happen to her while living in STL (The word "DIRT" appearing on her car in STL, the word "GIRL" appearing on the dollhouse wall, the word "WRONG" appearing on her headset outside of the bar, the ghost of her sister in two separate scenes and the numerous words scratched into her skin in the final scene). It's also clear that Adora suffers from impulse control disorder because she picks her eye lashes. Spoiler: E1 Easter Eggs As far as the case goes, the local officer clearly doesn't want to dig too deep into this case. I also think that the father of the first victim is kind of fishy. Camille pointed out that it looks like his wife left him. I'm curious if she will be interviewed.
I like the observation. No points if you already read the book though. I have not read the book fwiw.
The sheriff gives me bad vibes. He's either in on the murders or is allowing the individual to get away.
Scar on her arm that said vanished or vanishes I think? Dirt written on her car. I can’t remember the other ones
Seems like a combo of her, the step dad and the mom. But the weird hut comes into play next week so who knows
I wouldn't call it panic as much as I'd call it just him wanting to express some repressed anger/sadness shortly after being rejected by his wife. After he helped her dress her wound he asked if she wanted him to stay with her that night (assume this means they sleep in different rooms) and she said no and he went downstairs to do his routine with his records and it just seemed to boil over. Those were also the titles of the first two episodes. She also had "scared" near the driver's side door handle on her car and I saw "wrong" on the display on her car stereo I think the morning she woke up in her car outside the bar. And in last night's episode the St. Louis sign said "spiteful" when she saw Marian or Alice in the middle of the road. Can't remember which one it was.
At first I thought it was Camille but now I’m almost certain it’s Adora. I really want to google the book but not letting myself. I also had to google Amma to see how old she is because the idea of her as a child is unsettling
I have a feeling that the music teacher is connected to the gang rape of Camille. Like the detective said. Anyone who plays in that shed has some bad mojo over them in Wind Gap.
Agree with all of that and would also like to add that the soundtrack is perfect. This song in particular, which has become something of a theme song at this point having been used multiple times this season, is fantastic.
Adora is extremely two faced and it’s clear she used to sleep with the Sheriff at one time. Jackie is a pretty twisted individual. Confronting Camille was ballsy . I knew that the music teacher had some skeletons in his closet.
Show is so great 5 episodes in and there’s still over 5 people that could be the murder and wouldn’t be surprised Today’s episode was tense af for me
Adora continues to one up herself with how awful she can be Inviting Camille for a drink to tell her she doesn’t love her and being proud of seeing Amma getting fake raped on stage
