The Michigan hype was unreal. People never learn.
Just give him time
He looks the part
Wait until he plays against the B1G
Wait until he plays Western Michigan next week. He’s going to pad his stats.
Row that boat
I tried to tell them.
Thank you for your service
I don’t believe anyone thought he would be the heisman winner. I’d like to see those quotes.
He left Ole Miss because he was going to sit behind a JUCo transfer this year who only had offers from Ole Miss and Minnesota.
No he wasn’t.
There chance he wasn’t starting this year. Ta’amu or however you spell it would have competed for the job with him there.
Patterson did the easy thing and left for promise to play elsewhere
Ta'amu was better across the board last year. Higher completion %, more ypa, etc. There was a very good chance that Patterson wasnt going to get his job back.
I was impressed with McCaffrey. Patterson not so much.
Yep. Shea and his dad asked Luke to guarantee him the job in their meeting before he transferred, and Luke said absolutely not for multiple reasons, including Ta'amu running the offense better than Shea did. Maybe Shea wins the competition, but I don't think the odds on him doing so were very good had he stuck around.
Ta'amu and those skills players are a group I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the season. AJ Brown is a monster
Those 5yd TE outs that McCaffrey completed were pretty awesome
Metcalf is better
How about #3 in the Heisman race (per nfl.com) and the #10 pick in the NFL draft (per walterfootball.com)?
It's your own fault if you take Walter football seriously
It's someone else's fault that "anyone" was the standard.
Walter football isn't a person fwiw
Pelican picked him
I didn't realize that the site is run by robots.
It could be
Yes he was.
They’re both so damned good, and Lodge would be the #1 WR at 80% of FBS schools.
Metcalf's going to set the combine on fire from a workout perspective. Just a freak of nature.
They gonna pass block for the dude at all this year or is Notre Dame just that good (lol yeah right)
Our dL is decent but their oline was awful, can’t imagine what clemson would do to him. Bosa might murder him.
Ohio State is going to destroy that garbage line of theirs
Picked who for what
Thought you picked Patterson for heisman but I messed up, you picked joe burrow. My apologies
Yes he was.
Shea is like a less athletic Manziel with bigger daddy issues.
Funny thing, I was sure Patterson was black just a week ago. No idea why
I didn't see him just topple over with cramps last night. That's a gif.
That is odd considering that his first name is Shea.
Ice Cube’s name is O’Shea.
The O makes a world of difference.
He kind of looks black here IHHH
Better get your laughs in now before another Michigan QB takes home the September Heisman.
I remember texting my brother "Denard Robinson, your 2011 Heisman Trophy winner" after that Notre Dame game.

Patterson will have a great shot at winning the Heisman with the I-formations hand off to the RB
I'd throw a $20 on him
