I take credit here, Ian has been outstanding after I told him "good luck next year" at a Joe Bonamassa concert before Covid.
1. He said what’s the difference other than the schedule to explain the success 2. I said they play an ACC schedule every year now as a quasi ACC member with 8 games usually 3. The Big 10 is pathetic this year so he looks even more dumb
why are you lurking in the Nd thread? what I meant is that Nd’s record against the big ten is favorable. Nd is not scared of going into a conference. I believe that nobody here is dumb enough to believe that narrative but there are a lot of dumb fans out there that still believes this.
I see your point but our schedule is massively different this year. Half ACC half indy is much different than this full ACC thing. Full ACC is much easier (this year at least).
It’s not “half”. You play 8 games. Also, you have a better team with a senior QB this year. You schedule is always this level. You just dropped a few shitty teams off of it.
i am confused right now, I got quoted from a different thread and I am being ridiculed... Oh well, carry on.
I thought it was 8, it’s five. But the difference appears to be playing teams like northwestern, navy, and ball state so the point remains the schedule didn’t ease up. Notre Dame has a good team and they’ve played a tougher schedule this season than every single Big 10 team.
We dropped Wisconsin, Stanford, USC, this year. None of them are good this year but they have potential to trip you.
With our defense, if any of these positives are important offensive players, why would they want to cancel?
Well that game was played in a monsoon and essentially the final nail in our OC's coffin. And we later learned he was a massive douche and universally hated by the players and some staff. So thanks! Also we developed a more proficient rushing attack.
Bias snuck through but I guess good on him for doing damage control. Rece Davis, on the other hand, sounded completely unhinged and can fuck right off.
