PTI is much less of a “debate” style and more just regular discussion. Some things are cut and dry and you don’t need an asshole to be the devil’s advocate about mental health issues.
ESPN offered him $4 million/year to stay with them and continue spouting bullshit that makes you want to throw your remote through your television. They just got outbid.
sure, wasn't excluding espn from hiring these folks, just that Fox Sports entire business plan is built on having ALLLLL these folks
Eh—Horowitz leaned into it but he’s out. I don’t see much daylight between the two networks other than ESPN being a vastly bigger and longer-running brand, so they’re going to have more room to try other stuff. ESPN’s highest-paid employee is Skip’s old partner in crime, so they obviously still place a lot of emphasis on the outrage model.
The fact the pay this man 6 million dollars to talk about Lebron, Cowboys and Tom Brady is astonishing
Interesting sub-tweet @ Screamin A. Smith - guess we’ll have a weekly dance off between them depending on whether the Cows win or lose
Couldn’t pay me to watch it if they did, but I get it. Politics, social media, sports media, these days hate sells. That duo would SELL.
It’s probably because the show has been stale for years, same topics, no new material and most people have stopped watching because Skip act is played out
He’s not paid to know sports. He’s paid to entertain/get viewers. Him, Stephen A, etc are entertainers before they are sports guys.
If Dak got a dollar for every time they talked about his contract then he really would make as much Mahomes.
Never heard of that dude. Must be pretty bad to be in the same category as cowherd and bayless, although it's hard to imagine anyone topping those two
I consider myself too online sometimes so it always surprises me when I’m completely oblivious things like this
