I used to play with a friend online in 2v2 and one of us would go for max resources and the other would go for early army. You can send and receive resources and we'd also get a nice trade route going for gold.

Used to do this once in a while... I always fucking hates collecting stone, though. There were a lot of times where I would just have like 10 farms (windmill thing in the middle) and sell a shit ton of food for gold and then buy stone.

I have age of empires II Hd edition. It’s a lot of fun. The skill level is extremely high in RM. I used to be pretty decent but I get rolled more than I’d like in HD.

From like 8th-10th grade basically all I did was watch recorded games of iamchris, daut, koven, etc when I wasn't playing, and played rated 1v1 Arabia (mainly hun wars) religiously. Then the drush-fast castle strat with Aztecs came along and boy that was a game changer lemme tell ya. I was also really cool.
