Hoping Sem, D4H, and others who have followed this stuff over the last few years might have some info in terms of who the best cappers are for CFB and the NFL, which ones are best to be avoided, and which ones are so bad that you can make a fortune fading them.
Nobody has any input here? I'm just hoping we can help each other out and weed out which guys in the service plays thread to focus on. In the past the cappers I've paid attention to have been RAS, Steele (Northcoast), Dr. Bob, Doc Sports, John Ryan, Ben Burns, Wunderdog, Deano, and Jim Feist. Are there any good ones that I'm missing? Are any of the guys I mentioned guys that I should ignore?? Why is it so hard to get input on this issue???
I haven't followed any of them enough to really know. Well, Phil Steele. Had his stuff the last few years. Hit and miss. He was pretty good on his 5* picks each week, but he did miss his GOTY last year. I think it was Wisky, iirc.
I don't follow many besides Dr. Bob. ATS Lock club has had some success. I know a lot of people like Kelso. Interested in following RAS this year, since I didn't last year. Curious to hear about others that people really like.
I just don't see much value in RAS when you can't get their #'s. It's one thing in college basketball totals where they are just ridiculously good but I don't think it's worth it to take their plays in college football when the line you are getting is off by 2 points from what they got.
Going to be tracking how their picks compare to final line picks this year to see if there is still value in their bets.
