    Figo went for a lot of $$$ .. Campbell didn't respond to contract talks and offers from the spuds and just walked over to Arsenal on a free ... big diff ..

    Having Alan Smith on this list is pretty ridiculous. The only team that Leeds would sell him to was United because they needed the money up front. Either he went to United or Leeds goes in to administration.

    one of my friends is an older Englishman. He says when Denis scored the goal to relegate United (they were fucked either way), Law promptly went to the bench and retired. Still didn't keep fans from egging his house.

    Yeah there are stories that he was crying after the goal. It was not the reason the scum got relegated either.
