Some draft help for a noob

depends on what pick and who's available. if you can get adrian peterson, turner, mjd, matt forte or steven jackson in the 1st rnd i'd take them. if not then i'd take brees or fitz. if you could get fitzgerald and moss/andre johnson with your 1st and 2nd rnd picks and then look for pierre thomas/knowshon moreno/kevin smith/ray rice type running backs in the 3rd-6 rounds and then take a qb like cutler, romo, mcnabb then you'd be decent.

 

post your scoring....who you draft should depend on this

 

Don't take Fitzgerald in the first round. Get a good RB or Brees/Brady IMO. Of the RB's, I'd say:
Peterson, Forte, Turner, Jones-Drew, Jackson are the top tier. Tomlinson, I wouldn't pick because I feel he is washed up. If none of those are available and you have to go with a WR, I'd say Andre Johnson. 2nd choice would be Moss or Megatron (Calvin Johnson). Although Fitzgerald is the best WR in the game, I'm not expecting him to be the top Fantasy WR.

Go RB in the first and go RB again unless Brees or Fitz is around

 

I always go RB early and a lot of publications and websites really think unless you get brees that its best to go QB in the rounds 5-8 range

 

I'd get my QB in round 4 or 5. Brees, Brady, Warner, Manning, Rivers should be good there.

fuck no i always save D and kicker for the last 2 rounds and drop them on their bye weeks for new ones. go WR or TE unless a real good RB is there.

 

Boldin's hip scares me, but dont be afraid to take antonio gates,witten or any top TE. Rivers to Gates would net you double points because they play together and are on your team.
