    If win only?

    In win or tie?

    Win reverse?

    Action reverse?

    How do these work? :idk:

I'm not sure if one of those is what I'm thinking of but Artie Lange on Stern talked once about he and Norm MacDonald doing what they called Fire Bets on Basketball games. Basically they would bet $1,000 (or whatever # you want to pick) on the over/under and for every point it goes over u win $1,000 but for every point it goes under you owe $1,000 (or whatever it is with juice). I always thought that sounded like a shitload of fun!

Na, that's not this. I've heard about that as well. Does sound like a blast. Would have killed it with the Colts, Pats, and GB this weekend lol.

This is something like tonight would be "Philly over 23 if over 38" or something like that. I guess my question is, if it's under 38, is the bet off? Push?

The way it works is u have to pick more then one bet and then if u win or push the first bet u then it goes to ur 2nd bet then so on ....

But say u pick 5 bets and and u win the first 3 there is a pay out for winning the first 3 but dont win the max if u would of won all 5

i am just going to do ML and pick teams .....

    1st bet Bama ML
    2nd bet FL ML
    3rd bet USC ML
    4th bet FSU ML

OK the first game is bama if they win then it will go to the florida game. Say florida wins it goes to USC . Say USC loses there will be a pay out for winning the bama and Fla game... but if usc would have won it would of went to the 4th bet FSU ..

So it is called a IF bet b/c if this happens it goes to the next bet and so on....

So, if I win Bama and UF, then lose to USC, I go 2-1 and I'm +1u? No action on FSU? Why would I do this? Why not just bet all 4 games separate? I guess this is a way of winning 4u and only risking 1u?

They pay out dont work like that not 100% on pay outs... But i know if u bet 1u and the more games u win it keeps going up kind like a parlay ... i will look and see if i can find a pay out chart for u

    From bookmaker.com

If bets help customers who want to have action on more than one game but based on the result of the 1st wager. There are 2 types of if bets, “If Win Only” and “If Win/Ties or cancelled.

    If Win Only example:

    501. Dallas Cowboys -5 $110 to win $100

    If Win Only

    504. Carolina Panthers +4 $110 to win $100

If the Cowboys lose, the wager stops there and is scored a loser -$110; if the Cowboys win +$100 the wager continues to the Panthers wager; if the Panthers win, the wager is a $200 winner; if the Panthers lose the wager is a $10 loss. If the Cowboys win by exactly 5, then there will be no action on the Carolina Panthers and the 110 will go back to your account.

    If Win/Ties or cancelled example:

    501. Dallas Cowboys -5 $110 to win $100

    If Win/Ties or cancelled

    504. Carolina Panthers +4 $110 to win $100

In this case, customers will have action on the second part of the wager if Dallas wins by 5 or more points.

Hmm, ok. I got it now. Don't think I like it, though. Seems like a way to cut your losses, but can cut your winnings, too.

I mean, if I lose Game A, I want action on Game B to get my money back.

If u lose the first bet u lose ur money and there is no chance to get ur money back unless u do another bet
