I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a big fiction reader. Mainly my readings come to biographies and sports history/stats books (Bill James Historical Baseball Abstract is my favorite book) . However this novel by Arthur C. Clarke has always stood out as my favorite sci-fi story I have read. Seems like it would be a great (and easier) candidate to adapt into a TV series or movie . Much easier so than Dune or Foundation without the anchor of palace intrigue that incorporates into almost ever aspect of the story. Who else is a fan of this novel?
