Whats goin on with this game? I havent seen a line for it and see that Southern Miss will be without their starting RB and maybe WR? I tried getting on their site on Rivals but couldnt and cant find much detail on ESPN. Anybody got any insight to this game? Id think that S. Miss still should roll UAB? Thoughts, help?
A healthy USM team is easily the better team. Southern Miss is 5-1 ATS in its last 6 games when playing UAB, and won last years game 70-14. UAB is a running teams avg. 230 yards/game while USM is only allowing 64 rush yards/game USM has built their reputation on D. USM has never lost to UAB going 9-0 SU (5-3-1 ATS). USM feels like this game they should have no trouble winning, and it wouldn't suprise me if they are looking forward to Louisville. I really like under 60 in this game. USM's D matches up well with UAB's O, and USM's injuries on O should limit USM's ablity to exploit UAB's D EDIT: I put 2 units on under 59.
70% of the plays are on USM and the line is shrinking. They are also road favs during mid week, I know that is a trend that prints likes to fade.
Hopefully by the end of the year we're all a little sharper than we were in week 1 (myself included) This one is painfully obvious....UAB or nothing....maybe even ML...no team has been more disappointing this season than USM...maybe Colorado...now they're on the road as a fav mid week & there's RLM? Not sure I take it...but UAB has to be the play..has to.
