I've seen various people claiming Atlanta is in line for 8+ inches of snow. Would be fucking wild. In 2011 we got around 4 inches the Monday night Auburn won the Natty. It was Friday and they city still hadn't plowed 285 This is on the 10 year anniversary of the ice storm that shut down the city.
Similarly to how northern drivers handle driving in the south during a moderate thunderstorm. Driving 40 mph in the left lane with their hazards on.
Really hope we don’t get a late freeze this year cause crawfish season is going to be booming and I’m gonna be sucking heads and pinching tails at half price.
Sliding down the exit ramp coming out of the airport was some of the sketchiest shit I have ever driven in. Didn't even care because Natty.
also US winter weather forecasts are almost completely useless until 1-2 days out but the models do say snow for a lot of people this weekend
Well it's not that Southerners don't know how to drive in poor weather. It's the simple fact that our cities don't have the "snow infrastructure" that places like Detroit or Chicago appropriate billions for. We don't have snow plows. We don't salt our roads. So if you get 1" of ice on an unsalted road it's going to wreak complete havoc. I've spent countless winters in Michigan and you can't walk into a convenience store without crunching on salt everywhere you go. That's non existent in the South. So the rare moments where there is a substantial winter weather event, shit gets pretty crazy.
lol I thought to myself “I bet he’s claiming he predicted this in August” so I looked it up and sure as shit that’s what he’s doing models putting out 13” for KC is funny
yeah idk what you're talking about. have never seen anyone do this during a thunderstorm, but you do you.
No snow for Chicago. Gotta admit I love this global warming. Loading up on plastic bottles and just running anything with a gas motor nonstop these days.
