Is JWST taking pics of our solar system too? I want to know more about Europa and this big ass ocean underneath
I feel like a moron, but when does Earth stop pulling? In this video Joe says that the anti-gravity astronauts are experiencing is really just them flying as fast as they are falling. I never realized that. So how far away from Earth would you need to be before it stops pulling, and then what happens wrt gravity? Anyway, solid video... This guy has a good channel.
Technically speaking never, but the force of gravity is subject to the inverse square law, meaning it gets much weaker very quickly as you move away from the center of the gravity well.
It's orbiting a Red Dwarf. So the habitable zone is pretty close, probably tidley locked with the star.
Just need to hire the Saudis who are building The Line to build a ring city in the habitable twilight.
Hey don’t forget the Bangladeshi And they’re an ally (that kills Americans) so we ignore their slavery for that sweet sweet dinosaur juice. Even on a planet far far away
It was perfect twilight for it, could see all three boosters the whole time. The setting sunlight on the contrail was awesome. Took some pictures, have t seen how they have turned out yet
I saw a cool thing today where they measured how fast gravity travels by using the gravity wave detectors and a deep space field telescope. Basically the wave detectors detected something consistent with two neutron stars colliding, and two minutes later the telescope detected a supernova from the same area. The supernova was 155 million miles away, and so they determined that gravity waves move close enough to the speed of light that there’s a minimal difference after traveling for 155 million years. I’ll see if I can find the video
