Eh maybe if you throw in a match worn Bale shirt we could consider this. I mean if it's truly the best you could do
Maybe I am reading more into this, but it seems like Dier (and maybe others) felt the same way as Jose. I am not taking that as a negative, BTW. Just saying they know he has not done what it takes to get the job done and that perhaps now he understands.
Congrats on most likely getting Rodon. Looking like 10 mil plus add-ons. Birch knowing the ins and outs of our club and financial situation probably doesn't hurt his negotiations. Lol Rodon is a hell of a player so long he stays healthy. Think he will be a solid addition to your squad if/when it happens.
That’s a terrible thread title, jeez. ***Tottenham Hotspur: I’m all ears.*** maybe play off the cfb classic “offseason champions” somehow because we pretty much nailed the transfer window.
I think there's certainly a chance, however I think it all depends on CCV coming. Alan Nixon said we want to sign two defenders before allowing Rodon to move on.
I can’t see why we wouldn’t want to loan him. I would imagine he would be loaned already if there wasn’t a deal there to be had.
Yeah, sounds like we submitted a deal sheet right before the window closed 8 minutes ago, means we get a 2hr window to wrap up any last paperwork and medical. Cool.
So Rodon is basically Foyth’s replacement? Don’t know much about him. It doesn’t seem like there’ll be much playing time for him behind Dier, Sanchez, Toby and Tanganga.
So how does this work: no international duty for this guy all season, or just until the January window?
Absolutely gutted to see Rodon move on, especially in a year with promotion aspirations. Fucking hate our ownership.
With that said Bale is my favorite player. Loved Rodon and his future. Obviously a Ben Davies fan. Plus CCV. So yeah I guess I guess I'll be hoping for good things for the pride of north London.
Starting him on the bench is the correct move. He’s older and coming off an injury. Bring him on sometime after the 60th minute.
Agreed. I think our eventual best starting 11 will include Bale but Jose went with the exact team I would have chosen today.
With these injuries we’ve still got a really strong starting XI and bench. I’m loving the depth we finally have. Outside of Kane and Lloris i think we can withstand an injury at every other spot on the field and not skip a beat.
