Phew. My bhole can now relax. Not an inspiring game. Love Kane/Son connection. Enough said about this one.
Great win. Wasn’t pretty, wasn’t easy, but we had to get all 3 points this evening and not only did we do that, we kept a clean sheet too. This team is going to make some noise before the season is over. COYS!
If we had held on to beat Newcastle and West Ham we’d be top of the league by 2 points. I’m going to be thinking about those 4 dropped points all season. Could be massive.
We were robbed vs Newcastle. West Ham we definitely blew. It sucks to drop those points in such a wide open start to the season. Hopefully we make up for it over the course of the year instead of using it as an excuse to fade away.
Anyone looked ahead to our Nov/Dec schedule? Starts off with BHA and West Brom. Then it’s: Man City @ Chelsea Arsenal @ Crystal Palace @ Liverpool Leicester City @ Wolves Fulham That’s a brutal stretch.
Next two games before this stretch starts are Brighton at home and West Brom away. Winning those two would be big.
The way Kane sees the game is just amazing. Surprised Michael Oliver couldn't find a way to rescue a late point for Burnley.
Lamela has been very useful so far this season IMO. We all know he has limitations but he came on and played a few brilliant passes and took the corner which resulted in the winner. He always gives 100 percent and we have played a lot of our best football with him on the pitch this season.
Dier and Ndombele left in London with slight knocks. Sounds 100% precautionary. Feels great to not have to risk these things any more.
