Prob gonna do a low country boil with shrimp and sausage soon. Gonna order some of his two step seasoning for it.
I got some as a gift and used it in a Lowcountry boil and it was surprisingly good. I think the Slap Ya Mama seasoning is slightly better and a lot cheaper if you can find it local.
Those oyster beds are p expensive, but I just kopped one for my Dad's bday. Pretty cool thing for dinner parties, tailgates, etc.
He did a meet and greet in Mobile here a couple months back and you’d have thought he was Jesus the way folk were acting
Forever more I pray to stale kracker. you wanna know why? He’s never let me down, if I need him, he’s on tik tok waiting and hydratin
In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, 'This Nati is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.'
I've only participated in a boil once in my life but it was a wonderful experience and I think about it often
The hot blend is really good too if you can find it. I’ve had the local Publix order me both when I wanted to try some but didn’t want to pay shipping or buy $50 worth.
We did his gumbo recipe in that video for our leftover thanksgiving turkey and it’s probably the best I’ve ever had. Using the sausage to make the roux is legit.
Ok so the original is your typicalCajun style seasoning salt. It’s pretty damn good. The Fire is obviously more peppery but in a good way, not a heat way. It’s not like slap ya mama hot but just a good. I’d buy both again. Like supporting the dude because I like all his videos. Wish they had a low/no sodium version but I’m pretty cunty like that.
Ok so let it sit in for a bit and yeah it’s got a really nice afterburn. I dusted the hell out of some grilled chicken and would definitely do again. Would be amazing on crawfish obviously.
i bought some a few weeks ago. tastes like its about 85% celery salt. probably won't buy again. haven't seen the fire yet but i'll try that when i do.
