Star Trek: Discovery

Episode 9 was absurd. 10 was whatever, like it was good up until that point. Paramount sucks at this shit

absolutely thought Burnham ascending to be actual space Jesus was going to be the ending but her just pitching away the technology after 3 minutes of thought was just as lame

 

It sucks they didn't get a chance to do a real proper ending given that it was cancelled post filming. I'm not sure how this series will be viewed with time, but I'm guessing it will be more forgotten Enterprise, and less culturally relevant DS9.

It never really resonated with me, mostly because it didn't feel like Trek in the way SNW or even LD does.

 

Late to the party here, But how does discovery compare to brave New World, (Which I loved)?

 

The first two seasons have their moments for sure. Not Strange New Worlds quality (at least with consistency) but worth a watch. The last three - it’s hard to find something nice to say about them.

What is the target audience for that?
