If by something meaningful you mean Will finally declaring his undying love for Mike and the two will live happily ever after, yes
They just took the boring people (Mike, Will and Jonathan) and separated them from the interesting people and that’s fine with me.
Same for me. You could also say they took the 3 worst actors on the show and separated them from the good ones for this season and it definitely shows. You'd have to assume once they show up with El that at least Will may have something of substance to contribute to the solution. Spoiler Argyle as the sleeper pick to have a moment of heroism in his highness and then probably gets got. Also if I had to pick a character that's not surviving this season, sadly it may be Murray. He's definitely served his purpose in the show
That shit was truly wild. Woah. I have to process this, I actually like that they are separating the release dates.
The make up/special effects team turning Jamie Campbell into Vecna. https://www.instagram.com/reel/Ce1dASVKi6Z/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Showed something similar where you saw him playing and Steve wrecking shit on some flying creatures next to him in the trailer for Vol 1
Finally finished and somehow avoided the spoilers. saw a lot of early noise on Twitter that this season was not great but I think it’s pretty great. Doesn’t have the season 1 magic but easily better than 2 & 3.
Will's definitely gay. And bless your heart for putting stock into what Rolling Stone says about a netflix series. I thought they were in the music business
The publication that recently listed Cardi Bs invasion of privacy as a better all time hip hop album than Illmatic should certainly be taken seriously when it comes to television/movies
Sepinwall's one of the best TV critics going these days. He's always had a thing against longer TV episodes and the movie-fication of television series' though, and I think he lets that sway his thoughts too much. Stranger Things was a perfect example of that.
idk if Will is gay but he's definitely the worst character and has been since S1. this season, however, has been completely badass. Vecna is an incredible villain.
Finally finished 7. Absolutely incredible. Was worried about the aging of the kids but it’s worked so far. Excited for these next 2 episodes.
Just finished episode 8. Will watch finale later tonight. This season has just been so good. Looked up to see what Sadie Sink has lined up and see she’s the top billed in 2 upcoming movies. Good for her, she deserves it
I would say at least. I mean it's like 4 hrs total runtime between the 2 episodes and people will probably be busy this weekend. My vote is for the first full week. Just my opinion though.
Agree. With it being a holiday weekend, it definitely seems reasonable to have it a little longer than the normal weekend.
Picking my kid up from summer camp today… “Dad, can we go to target to buy Dungeons and Dragons, everyone at camp plays it and I don’t know how”
Spoiler I really thought that Eleven was going to break free in time. That was gut wrenching. I also didn’t expect from beginning of the season to become attached to Eddie. The scene with Dustin and his uncle. Fuck.
Spoiler As a metal fan, big Eddie guy here. I’m also glad they didn’t make his uncle the standard asshole that character always tends to be but rather someone who still believed in Eddie and was trying to find him regardless of what the public reaction was
