Maybe you all are different but if either me or the lady wear anything to bed either the heater is broke or we're fighting about something.
I was a bit smashed last night, I need to see what amount you tipped. Already suspicious since you left that part out.
That’s how we go to bed, naked or just some undies. but when she wakes up earlier than me she steals them them.
Probably between 15-20% but don’t remember, I guess I can report back after it clears my credit card What are you suspicious about?
I know all marriages go through tough times, but yesterday we spent 8 hours together in a rental car with only one climate control and it nearly tore our marriage apart. Sure we can look back and laugh now, but when you’re in the middle of it the only thing more oppressive than the feelings of anger and resentment is the superheated air blasting you in the face.
this makes me irritated just reading it. whoever drives gets the climate. Cold? throw on a blanket or get extra clothes to drape over your legs or something. I'm sorry, I'm driving
I agree 100% with those thus far. Too Cold? Sorry, bundle up. Too Hot, pass the barf bag cause car sickness is pending. How is there any room for a compromise?
Shopping for new door knobs/ handles at Home Depot. Me: it's going to be pretty expensive to replace every door in the house with the ones you want. We would need about 10, one for each door. Her. Well the price isn't that bad considering there is two in every package. Me: Her: What!???? Ohhhhhh I'm an idiot.
Why does every door need 10 knobs/handles? The fuck kinda doors you got over there? I think you've got 10 doors in your house, but it can be read differently.
One of my roommates, when I was living out near my old job, was not temperature compatible at all. I don't know how one could be married to someone like that. It would be a deal breaker for me.
This is more just venting...but still plenty stupid; If I'm near the end of a long day, like 5:30am-7:30pm type day, do you think it's crazy of me to think that the wife could maybe figure out dinner? I usually cook for our family, but it just seems like maybe on those long days she might be able to help out. Nah, she takes the dog to the dog park...then goes over to her parents house to eat and pick up our youngest son. (oldest and I were at his 11U baseball practice) But nah, I'm the asshole.
Yea, I’d be fucking pissed. At bare minimum bring you home a plate or some take out. Takes almost no effort.
Have you sat down and talked about this with her? Or is it more side comments to her and then it starts into an argument? May wanna move this topic over to that thread imo.
This could be a preview for an upcoming post over there. We talk/argue in circles. Anyways, not looking to solve it...just venting.
So you don't want to solve the problem of her not helping out or getting you and your oldest boy dinner when you have a long day and baseball practice? It sounds like this has been pissing you off long enough where it's making you unhappy with your relationship. I am not trying to put words in your mouth, but this is how it sounds.
When she walks into the bathroom have a hair dryer blowing down the front of your pants. When she asks what you’re doing, tell her you’re heating up her dinner.
My wife has long been one to worry about money and assume the worst of any financial decision but this one took the cake. We've been going round and round about money lately, her claiming that we're broke and completely fucked, me looking at our accounts and failing to see what the fuck she's talking about. I give her my breakdown of where I think we are, assuming things will go basically ok for our businesses/holdings and how I believe that we're fine. She comes back with the absolute worst case scenario for all across the board and decides that we're going to be $3k short of cash in May unless something happens (have a large credit card bill to pay off by then or we start paying interest). All while knowing that we have a payment from .gov coming in for some farm land we own. We're not 100% sure how much, but we know that the payments have been ~$15-20k every year. That payment hits our account and I'm all "see, we're good. nothing to worry about!" She immediately grabs her notebook to go back to her worst case scenario write up and mutters "I must've done the math wrong somewhere here..." I roll my eyes and walk out of the room.
I meant that I'm not trying to solve it here. Just venting here. We've got ongoing issues...this being one of them. We've talked, and continue to talk about all of our issues. None of which are deal breakers on their own but need to be dealt with. We're doing that but anyways let's get back to funny stupid shit.
