I'm too lazy to wash them after every use, so I have multiple of each of those except I have just one pot. I just toss them in the dish washer when I'm done and start up a load when it's full.
So she wants to rent out plates and shit but will have nothing to do with the food. Yeah that business is going nowhere.
I think you are missing the point don.... this thread is called "stupid shit your wife/gf does" the stupid thing she is doing is keeping shit in case she starts a business that she will never start.
Guys I don't see what the issue is here. We all know bitches love china and my wife has china that she'll rent to you for a nominal fee. Just pay up and enjoy your china
Small one but good one... Me: Did you hear Tiger wood got arrested last night for DUI...? Her: Man, all those famous athletes think they are inevitable..makes me sick. Me... Try again...
She's describing what she can't eat cause our baby has bad acid reflux. "I can't have any carnivorous vegetables"
Various flower patterns and other girlish types of things. No pics because I'll be damned if I let her think I have any interest in this shit
Let me know when you get some of the white china with the blue italian landscapes. Then I will know you guys are a legit china rental business to be taken seriously.
In the past 2 weeks my GF has burned herself from trying to steam a dress while it's on her and fell off a bike whilst trying to ride in heels...
Why would you put clothes that won't fit a kid for another year in the drawer with the clothes that do fit?
FWIW, nearly every event that uses china uses rental. Typically, whoever rents the tables and linens also rents the china. That's often the venue. But, it's not that crazy of an idea.
So apparently my wife now wants to adopt an older child. We can't have anymore biologically, so she wants to go this route. Unfortunately, Massachusetts in general, and the borderline incompetent Juvenile Court judge in our county (who is a minority and also a flaming racist) overturns adoptions left and right. And I worry about my wife's emotional well being should that happen.
My best friend and his wife tried to adopt and ran into a weird rule about the child being adopted has to be younger than your youngest biological child. I don't know if it was a state rule or an agency rule. He has 2 kids, wanted 3, didn't want to have another baby (since they were older) and tried to adopt a child that was in between the 2 biological children, but they wouldn't let him.
We'd be looking for slightly younger than our son. Seems cruel to him to adopt an older child. There are also some fun inheritance issues involving this that I need to discuss with my wife involving something my grandmother set up.
I'm totally confused and don't want to risk starting an argument over a misunderstanding... Can you clarify what you meant, then?
In the 1st comment, he meant older than the standard adoption. In the 2nd he meant older than his son.
This. We wouldn't be adopting a baby or toddler, but we wouldn't be adopting a child older than our son either. So we'd be looking I guess between 4-7. Unfortunately my wife doesn't get the inheritance complications this may cause.
My grandmother created a trust, because she didn't trust my dad our my oldest sister (i was 1 when she died), we can use the money for approved things and our kids are the beneficiaries. It specifically stated natural children. The state where the trust is held upholds those provisions the last time I checked. Massachusetts, where everyone involved now lives, does not recognize this.
That only creates an issue for the adopted child, who will likely benefit plenty even without the eventual inheritance.
Whereas this is true as I think we'd provide a wonderful home, some of the advantages our son would have we wouldn't be able to give to that second child. And my worry would be that would alienate the child from our family. And due to a clause that the lawyer insisted on in the fucking 1980's, we can't challenge any provision without forfeiting our rights to this. I think my Grandmother thought my Dad would just adopt a bunch of kids or something.
