Are there any twitter accounts that post a lot on transfer rumors? I only got Newcastle stuff, but want to be able to keep up with the league as a whole
It's been pretty quiet so far. TransferScoop @TransferScoop Hazard's agent - "Eden will make up his mind after Belgium's matches vs Montenegro & England"
This .gif will have to be remade seeing as Chivu is leaving :) and so is Deki and Lucio. Deki is likely heading to the MLS while I have no clue where Lucio is going, but pretty sure we are terminating his contract
Huth will be sold if he doesn't extend his contract (he has one year left). I would be pissed. He's probably our most valuable player.
Wolves are drumming up interest in Roger Johnson. Sounds like his old club, Cardiff, may be interested.
ESPNSoccernet We understand West Ham have made a £7m bid for Heerenveen striker Bas Dost, the Eredivisie's top scorer this season with 32 goals. #whufc
given that narsingh is end of contract after next year he can be gotten on the cheap as well, might as well gets dosts best supplier as well
OfficialJimmyC @Jimmy_Chilides Yann M'vila odds with @SkyBet are now at 1/10 to join Arsenal Expand Reply Retweet Favorite
Doesnt make any sense that Saha would have inside info on where Hazard was going. Still dont believe that he will makes his decision known today.
Nothing yet on the wages. I would venture to guess it is going to be somewhere in the 175k range along with the 5m agent fee that has been widely reported.
Not arguing but most of the Chelsea folks I've seen think his wages will be closer to 125k/week on a four year deal.
Yeah 125k especially for Chelsea would be low and see a hefty sign on bonus. The 5m agent fee is what put the brakes on the deal with the other two sides. But congrats either way. Time for City to move on other targets that have been identified.
Going to need bodies once the 5 or 6 players are sold this window. It will be interesting to see what others do in the window.
The last owner locked in so many shitty contracts that Roma can't offload useless players for anything. At least his contract is uP at the end of next year.
Doubt the tabloids know anything at this point and just making up shit until some French source comes out with something and they all steal it. China and Russia just want names and Johnson and Milner aren't names. Sure Anzhi would pay a fortune for Dzeko though, question is if he wants to disappear like Eto'o has.
Am I the only one that thinks this is getting ridiculous? There should be a gamble in paying this much for a player...and making others miss out. But their isn't because certain clubs have unlimited money. So arsenal payed 15 mil for AOC and we can argue "our player has more potential and we payed half for him", but it literally doesnt matter because they have no risk. It takes some of the fun out of the whole process. Its like when you play fifa and just buy up all your favorite players and then go, "now what?". Then you are like city and you just sell players so you can buy new ones, even though you are almost stuck with them.
Savic on loan is almost a guarantee, Kolo is in the last year of his contract, De Jong is as well, Kolarov has been rumored to be out in search of more first team, Tevez is a possibility, Bridge will be gone for basically nothing or loaned out, and the Hargreaves experiment was a failure, as evidenced by Pizzaro coming on loan. As far as first team guys are concerned, I'd expect to bring in a cb, box to box type cm (or a regista type), younger lb, and probably a forward of some type.
Will trade one Zlatan Ibrahimovic for one Tevez and one striker, preferably of the african-Italian persuasion.
Tevez and Alex Tchuimeni-Nimely for Zlatan, sold to the man with the penis in his avatar. Read African-italian as African-American multiple facepalms for me How about straight African
